Lovely lovely lovely place with delicious food. The cakes and the coffee are excellent and I love being around the very relaxed atmosphere the owners had created.

Your reply confirms my previous review exactly: - That you are defensive and can’t take any feedback from customers. Not a good look for hospitality! - You are corrupt - We spent $55,90. And you gave us $46 change - Do the math, we are $9,90 short! - Also now you are lying making up stories... I can ask my friend to give you a review too - P.S. it won’t be good either. I would seriously suggest you get training to improve your social/customer service skills. Unfortunately, little can be done about an inherently immoral nature.

The atmosphere is great but the staff are over busy and not that helpful. The biggest problem is that they put reserved signs on tables with no sign of what time it is reserved for. The result is that even at 7::30 in the morning most tables are unavailable.

This place was supposed to be a nice bookshop cafe. But, unfortunately, my second visit was absolutely not!! We came in this morning, the cafe was not busy at all. We sat down at an unreserved table after we ordered. We waited for a while, then we were rudely asked to move to another (very small) table to seat another customer who came a while after us (knowing that the other customer didn’t reserve the table that we were sitting on)!! The waitress (who seemed to be the manager) had zero customer service skills, was rude and inappropriate. When we mentioned this was not a civilised way of serving customers she absolutely could not take the feedback and actually became very defensive! We subsequently asked for a refund - and she short changed us!! Overall, it is a shame that the good concept of a bookshop cafe is so tainted by a socially inept corrupt waitress/manager. We definitely won’t be coming back here and I’ll be warning my friends of this strange place!

This place is my favourite for many reasons.....the staff members are always kind and professionals, good food and coffee. I was queuing at the cafe yesterday when this lady came to the till yelling at the waitress or manager saying that she wasn't happy with the table etc. The waitress was so patient that I couldn't believe it, trying to change them to a table that was available but she was so so so rude and aggressive. Some people are very rude but is not the case of the staff members at Millpoint Cafe. I was seriously waiting for the review of this girl to see what she would made up to further lying about what happened. Guys from the Millpoint you can actually demand her with a lawyer and I would give you my version of the story as well........you have also got cameras in the cafe and you can go to court with that accusing her of diffamation. I'm here several times a week and I can sit for 3 or 4 hours with different friends and we were never disappointed. Millpoint you are one of the best cafe in Perth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love this place...nice food, friendly staff and great range of books

Funky little cafe my wife and I visited. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty. The service was also excellent. There were some cute Willy wag tails prancing about in the courtyard which were nice to watch. The book store which is joined was good to walk through. They even had a copy of the The Rainbow Fish which my wife wanted to get so we did .

Breakfast was awesome - loved the hotpot. Loved being surrounded by books. Might have bought a couple whilst there 🤗
