A pretty nice restaurant. The mexican food is lovely. It is in the heart of the city close to a train station. The restaurant is family friendly and not too expensive.

Great friendly service with fresh food - guacamole is made and served fresh at the table. Good portioned entrees which goes well with the extensive tequilla drinks menu. Close distance to the Wynyard Station, so definitely easy to get home after a good night out!

The made-to-order guacamole is the signature and it consists of avocado mashed with spanish onion, coriander, lime juice, wasabi, walnuts and serrano chilli, all served with a side of golden plantain chips. The dish comes to the table with all the ingredients in separate plates and bowls, before the waiter promptly mixes everything within a molcajete. Definitely one to order just for the theatrics, and as a plus it is delicious and a great starter.

new place for dinner with friends and colleages, nice deco and funny waiters. Close to the CBD and near the train station/bus station. Mexico cuisine and many new special different way and waiter show you how to eat the single dishes. You will feel the happy and exciting atmosphere. Must drinks their wines.

Staff are very friendly and casual. The food is attractive and delicious! Great place for group dinners Mexican food such as ceviche which you dont usually get in a common mexican restaurant.

Went to Mejico last night with high expectations. Place looks great, waiters and bar staff were excellent mixing our own version of margarita and providing excellent service. Menu is very limited, food was small dishes and not very flavoursome. I didn't expect hot chilli but some mexican flavour would have been great. Disappointing.

The kingfish ceviche and the trout tacos are both fantastic. Good service, good decor - just make sure you book in advance.

Been here twice now and the food and service have both times been consistently strong. shredded lamb and trout tacos are ridic! definitely recommend a booking; we didn't do this the first time and so we waited 30 minutes for a table for 2, but so worth it.

good food. no spanish waiters thought. I definitely try it again.
