226 Victoria Ave 2067, Chatswood
Favourite ramen in Chatswood by far! If you don’t mind a little wait, you won’t be disappointed. A wide variety of ramen to choose from and no matter which one you choose, I’m you’ll be very satisfied. We ordered the pork tonkatsu shoyu and the yuzu shio coriander 🌿
Been there quite a few times already. Very consistent, best ramen in the North and broth is good. Online reservation system is SUPERB. However, they moved away from that system today and it's quite a mess with long queues. Not sure why they did that because the online system worked well. Pity as I will not return as it makes getting a place unpredictable. All being said, I will not remove a star and hope they will revert back to the online system which worked so well.
Really rich and lovely flavours in their soup base. The chewy thick noodles are great. I always get the octopus fritters as a side dish. Nice and authentic ramen
Really great place! I enjoyed the service and the food was excellent. Definitely one of the best vegan ramen I've had in Sydney, I recommend adding an egg if you are vegetarian as it really complimented the ramen. The entree and dessert was also really good and the whole meal was at the perfect price point. The staff was also really great, going out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Honestly was almost the perfect experience except for one small issue, table time is max 50 minutes which really isn't enough for a three course meal. Considering the amount of money I was spending and that I had a reservation I thought that they would give me more time, but I definitely felt a light pressure to leave. Still I will be back, really outstanding place besides that!
Great ramen restaurant with an extensive selection of pork, chicken, and mixed-soup ramen, as well as the accompanying appetisers and drinks you’d expect. The Octopus Karaage still tastes nice and crunchy when left to cool for a bit, and the Gyokai Black ramen was nice and filling, satisfactorily scratching the ramen itch I’ve had for months now. My wife had the cheekily-named “long name” ramen, which she slurped down quickly with pleasure. Altogether a nice experience. There is a one-hour dine-in limit, however—so parents with younger kids (especially if you have two or more) might be better served by other places, but those with a single pram would still love it as there’s generous room between tables. Or maybe that’s due to covid times? Last note is that they had a strict booking policy for dine-in customers while there were covid government restrictions, so while we all wish that doesn’t back, I would suggest checking their website if it does.
I’ve been here so many times and they were all the best until they stopped accepting reservations. Don’t come on the weekends especially lunch time! There is crazy queues which never move since kids and elders are just chatting on the tables after meal. Pretty disappointing the situations since I loved it..
I’ve been to almost every ramen shop in Sydney and this one is my favourite! Closely followed by Ippudo in Westfield. I tried the chicken/pork soup which was delicious, and I like that they give you all your extras individually so you can add them yourself for taste. Only thing is I wish the noodles were a little thicker, they are thin although you can still choose the firmness. Very yummy and I will definitely be coming back!
One of my all time favourite ramen restaurants in Sydney. The broth is so rich and full of flavour, I can't get enough of it! Staff are so welcoming and accommodating.
It feels like years since I've had ramen, so it is nice to be out and able to eat it again. The men (noodles) were delicious, soup quite tasty. A couple of things could have been better, but all over it was a great experience. Glad they were able to squeeze us in (fully booked out).
One of our favourite authentic Japqnese ramen places in Sydney. Besides the main offering of ramen, try some of their side dishes too. Our favourites are the gyoza and fried octopus. Friendly and efficient service.
