This has been in our list for a while, as I love Malaysian food, and I am a big fan of Nasi Lemak, Malaysia's national dish, we decided to finally visit. This place gets packed very quick, so you’ll have to wait for a while before getting yourself a table. Once we were seated by the friendly staff, we ordered the following: - Nasi Lemak - Fragrant coconut rice accompanied by an ensemble of sambal, peanuts, crispy anchovies, cucumber, and hard-boiled egg. You have the option to add curry chicken/fish/lamb/vegetarian. I opted for the Fish Curry. - Kari ikan - A tangy fish curry cooked with fresh tomatoes, okra, and eggplant. - Ayam goreng - Malaysian-style fried chicken. Marinated with herbs and spices and full of flavour. ($5 per piece) - Nasi goreng - Malaysian-style fried rice with spicy sambal, eggs, prawns, French beans, assorted veggies, topped with fried shallots. Loved the Nasi Lemak! Everything about it is exactly how I had it in Malaysia. The fried chicken was nice & juicy, if a bit oily. The Kari Ikan (fish curry) was not as tangy as we expected it. The Nasi Goreng wasn’t served with the traditional fried eggs on top, so it was just a mixture of fried rice with prawns. Didn’t feel traditional. We asked for single rotis, but were surprised that they don’t serve them individually, and you have to order the curry dips and spicy sambal sauce with. It was a real let down, as we just wanted some bread with the curry. At the end of the meal, we ordered the Kopi Tarik (Malaysian white coffee), and asked for no sugar as we know it it’s made with condensed and evaporated milk which is already sweet. Apparently, that is not possible, and it has to come with sugar!!! So even with one spoon of sugar, it was way too sweet for us, and we honestly couldn’t be bothered to drink it. This place has potentials to be better if they are a bit more flexible with stuff that can either not be added or can be purchased as a single item. We are not asking to change the food, just don’t add sugar to the drinks, and charge us for single rotis, similar to the fried chicken.

We ordered 2 mains and a side dish, they all tasted great, but the price was super steep and we ended up still hungry after $40. Also the satay chicken was valued at $15 for six skewers, not a good deal.

I was worried about foods because I heard so many tourist visiting here. From time to time people good comment even if there got bad experience. When I took foods from here, I was too much worried about it. foods were amazing, reasonable price. I would recommend it to friends or other tourist .

Popular joint and good crowd, food is closest to authentic Malaysian, though there is room for perfection. With that said I do recommend this place for your cravings of Malaysian dishes.

A favourite for those who craved freshly made Roti Canai (not Frozen!!), vibrant curries, all at an attractive p[rice point. I also appreciate that you can tailor the sweetness level of the Teh Tarik and Teh Halia to your preference.

Quick service, staff is friendly and very professional. They already let you know which items on the menu are not available prior to ordering. Food was amazing - totally value for money. I don’t eat spicy and was worried about the Sambal but everything was just perfect. They also took into account allergies and altered the ingredients to cater for that; food was still DELICIOUS without prawns & prawn paste. Toilets were clean. Lots of space in the restaurant. Overall 10/10! Would absolutely recommend and will absolutely eat there again. Could not be more satisfied.

just wanna say, “ I LOVE IT “ they definitely do better than the other malaysia restaurant out there. the roti definitely taste like what you can get in malaysia. for the price we pay was pretty worth it, but still can’t believe price is higher then the malaysia mamak 😝 the Teh taste awesome, the roti telur bawang is pretty oniony and eggy . just like in malaysia. cendol was okay, the portion can be serve for a little bit more
