Madame Hanoi

Just not good enough! The service was awful. Food brought and left at our table and then taken away as we were about to eat it and then re-delivered to another table. Which I don’t think is legal on food safety grounds. This made us wary of what was happening to our food. Service was inattentive and disinterested and not what I would expect for the premium prices of your food. They did remind us about adding a tip when I went to pay though! The place was busy so noisy because of people but I don’t think a bass heavy music soundtrack adds anything to the ambience. Is it a restaurant or night club? The food was generally ok. We had the ‘let us spoil you’ menu. The kingfish was over cooked and a bit dry. The papaya salad was lacking in zing lacking interesting flavours. The wine list was uninspired with lots of examples of the same grape types. Not a good enough list for South Australia. I think there is a lot of complacency in how your restaurant is managed. It could be so much better. It was a birthday celebration. But didn’t live up to any expectations.

Beautiful place with good ambience. Food was exquisite and hospitality was nice. Different sections to dine in, so need to choose the location on booking. Overall nice place to spend time.

Lovely space, food was nice and not overpriced. Squid could have done with more lime or a dipping sauce. The lychee mocktail was lovely.

Third time going there and the quality of the food has dropped tremendously. Food too expensive considering quality and portion size. Ordered chicken liver entrée which came looking nothing like chicken livers but looked like dessert with chicken liver flavor. Ate some average tasting ribs. BF ordered fish which was literally just a tail of a fish. We were very hungry, had to eat when we got home. Used to be my favorite place but not anymore. Will try it one more time before fully giving up. Favorite restaurent is now 8020BK just down the road.

We loved it! My partner is a vegan but I love my meat. At Madame Hanoi you will be happy with any diet! It was so so delicious and the Service was great! We had an amazing dinner here!

Tastes are absolutely amazing! One of the best restaurant in Adelaide. Regular customer, will keep come back in the future. Always great experience on food.

Great atmosphere. The fitout is top end and the food was exceptional. Definitely recommend to eat here if you are heading to the Casino.
