73 Addison Rd Pennington 5013, Adelaide

Been eating here for years now. food is always fresh, staff are always fantastic. The walls are adorned with accolades from all over Australia and the world! only a small place and because the food and prices are so good booking is recommended. the dining atmosphere is fantastic and if you don't like crowded places you can always eat outside. Can never have enough of their food. everything I have had off of their menu I have loved. Special mention for the Quails, Pork balls, Seafood Salad, Flat fried noodles and vermicelli salads. oh and their salt and pepper squid is the best in Australia.

Adelaide Pho

199 Waymouth St 5000, Adelaide

This place has some of the BEST Vietnamese food around and is so cheap!! You wouldn’t expect to pay any more than $15 for a main but most vary from $10-$12. It’s fresh and tasty, the staff are excellent AND is always buzzing and busy, I would definitely recommend booking ahead to be sure you get a table :)

Heading to Vietnam shortly with a few mates and thought we would try the food. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. The grilled pork was the pick of everything we tried, following closely by the pho'. Will be eating there again soon! Thanks to Hiro and Pnom for hosting us.

Pho SA

42 Currie St 5000, Adelaide

Nice tasting Pho- small/average serve size but plenty of flavour and plenty of basil/coriander/chilli/lemon sides. Overall a solid effort.

Pepper Leaf
4.5
/ 131

1328 North East Rd, Tea Tree Gully 0, Adelaide

I visited the restaurant yesterday to celebrate my wife's birthday and was very impressed at my first time there. Though the ambience (and the noise!) leave something to be desired, the service and, most importantly, the food, was excellent. My wife had a noodle dish and I opted for the Rice Hot Pot. She commented that there was perhaps too much meat (but then she is on the Dukan diet, again!) but enjoyed it with the addition of some chillies. I really enjoyed my Rice Hot Pot, an imaginative concoction of chicken, Chinese sausage, roast pork shrimps water chestnut and mushroom topped by, of all things, by a fried egg! Truly hot and very tasty. A nice glass of Penfolds shiraz/cab topped off an excellent meal. We will definitely be returning.
