Wonderful! A couple of reasons for 5stars. Great staff. Excellent food. Saki was on point. GF, the owner and chef went way above and beyond. Made a concerted effort to personally highlight and curate the menu to suit celiac requirements. They really care about the patrons and their food/dining experience. Definitely look forward to going back. Price is what you expect to pay for top rate Japanese cuisine. Loved it Thank you

Love this place! Could not recommend enough. Excellent food and service, and a beautiful vibe. Have been about 5 times in the past 2 months. Their other restaurant ‘Kuu’ is also great.

Can't wait to go back. We stumbled upon it - wandering up Park St to head to another restaurant... glad it was shut. The food was wonderful and we were told that the owner was thinking of changing the menu - I can't believe it - to get more people in. I think their marketing would do well to be revamped rather than the food. Everything we order was incredible. I thought the panko oysters were amazing - but that was our first dish... it just got better and better! I took a business card - and can barely read the details on it and even the way the name is (I had to google again for this because I couldn't remember it) could use a different font... I just remembered the M, N & U... If the decor was so inviting we wouldn't walked straight passed... and knowing what I know now... that would have been heartbreaking!

Newly opened Japanese Restaurant in South Melbourne, I’ve been here a couple of time now. Am not giving this place a 5 Star just yet as there are few improvements they need to do get me to give 5 Star! The food well it’s sophisticated yet simple, some thing are overly sophisticated or just trying to hard. Is it Izakaya? Modern Japanese? I couldn’t tell from the menu, it’s mix and match menu right now, I’ll give it couple of month to get they identity right. But don’t get me wrong, it is wonderful restaurant, food is great, drink menu is minimal but well thought, deco is warm, romantic yet casual, staff are friendly, always happy to help with a smile. Give it a go!! You will not be disappointed. I’ll go back in couple of month to see how they developed. Looking forward to that day. See you soon!!

A lovely quiet place where everything is done with finesse. The food was excellent & presented very nicely. Price for the lunch menu were well set.
