11-15 Duckboard Pl 3000, Melbourne
This is one of our favourite dining experiences so far! The food, the drinks, the service were 👌🏼. Each dish is not only experimental but executed perfectly. A Chinese paradise for the tastebuds 🤤
3.5 star ⭐️ I went with a friend to Lee Ho Fook for lunch today, as I have never tried this place which is just around the corner from where I work. My friend and I started off with the scallop and tofu entree. $9 for one scallop we expected it to be huge and amazing, and whilst it was good, it wasn’t $9 good. Smashed cucumber and fungus was deliciously garlicky, but the stir fried shredded potato was a bit too salty in some parts. The other parts are perfect though with a slight kick to it. We ordered a pan fried flounder and it was amazing. I really liked the deep fried pork fat (?) on top of it. The whole dish was so good with rice. All up the whole meal was about $70 per person, a bit expensive to be honest, but nonetheless quite enjoyable.
Unexpectedly unbelievable food! Goodbye pies and chips. Hello Lee Ho Fook.
Amazing place from an amazing chef. Vic and his crew have done an outstanding job mixing traditional Cantonese cuisine with French style degustation. Wine pairing is about as food as I’ve had anywhere, all great wines at a great price point! Will be back for sure!
That was the best dining experience I have had since moving to Australia 6 years ago.
Best roast duck in Melbourne! The duck, fujian crab fried rice and egg plants are my favourites to order. Make sure you have some room to eat the desserts. Great selections for beverages. They’ve got upstairs for the fine dining or downstairs next to the bar. Highly recommended
been here for the very first time and in love with the food here . they served the really creamy and chocolatty dessert, smoked duck is pretty yum and tender with the sauce
Our family went to this restaurant as a special occasion and it delivered. The location down a little lane reminded me of a Hong Kong street. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and attentive. We loved the food and the atmosphere. We were visiting from Brisbane with my bro who is a chef in Hong Kong.
Excellent food, every dish hit the mark, quick, efficient and professional service and very tasty food, highly recommended
Saw Lee Ho Fook on Gok's Chinese Takeaway (Victor was much slimmer) and have been wanting to visit for a while now! Oh what a treat!! We opted for the banquet, 1 with and 1 without the wine pairing. My partner thought the wine/sake was paired really well with each dish. We both had favourites, the chicken skin and eggplant were standouts. For dessert, the burnt caramel with osmanthus custard was superb. Definitely try the banquet if you are here for the first time and dont know what to order. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Stellar experience. Very good atmosphere.
