Fish is yummy, chips are okay.

I came here based on reviews. I was here on holidays staying at the waterfront. I was disappointed in the presentation once I opened my order as everything was mixed and looked like a big potato ball. I ordered scallops potato cakes chips calamari flake and makeral. Spent $50 and was extremely disappointed to say the least. If I was staying closer I would've taken the food back. The batter was stuck on the paper so was the scallops calamari etc. The chips was also stuck on the paper packaging. The look of the whole order was very ordinary. Why can't you guys put the fish seperate in a box so it looks presentable once the customer opens it up and is not mixed with chips or anything else. I was looking forward to my dinner but didn't enjoy it at all. The guy who gave me my order repeated my order to me which I did not understand a word he said. He said it that quick to just fob me off and move onto the next person. I am in the industry myself and could not believe the way the food was presented. Unfortunately when I'm in Darwin next I will be giving this place a miss.

Dinner on the lawn. Great fish and Chips. Pretty spot to enjoy dinner and watch the sunset. Bring a rug, a chair, an early and some aeroguard.

Had goldban snapper and chips here , the batter was light and crispy, beautiful fresh food cooked well, plus the view of the sunset was just amazing. Good stop for food by "La Beach”.

The owner was extremely rude with us when we attempted to take our little dog onto the patio. He made a sarcastic remark that this is not a kennel! Nowhere is it displayed that dogs are not allowed, in fact, a year ago we took both our dogs there. Our small dog makes less of a mess than most small children!! We shall NEVER go there again!
