Great food and friendly service
Best sushi train in Adelaide. Just avoid busy time or make a book for your table.
Good variety of sushi, reasonably priced However, the lady in sushi bar were a bit weird that they kept asking me whether We need assistance every 5 minutes. We were not sure she is instructed to do so or else. But We just wanted to focus on thinking, eating or talking to my friends. Even when I was texting on my phone, the lady still looking on my table, looked at my face and kept asking me “is everything fine?” and waiting for my response. I'm worry she will burned her food, I think it's will be better if she focus on her job and let's waitress to do it. Overall, the lady in sushi bar keep asked me more than 10 times in total. Honestly, we would let the staff know if we need something. And we did tell them, we would let you know when we need anything else. We believe they overdid the so-called serving. The food quality is alright, but the dinning experience is not quite enjoyable, we just want to “relax”, so sometimes please don’t disturb the customers for non value-added activities.
for a first time person going had no idea what I was doing and what there really was to order..no one actually helped .food was great! would been nice if someone actually had shown me.
Very nice venue and lots of great audio varieties. Staff were a little hard to deal with very inattentive and appeared to be too busy.
We got a table straight away and ordered 3 plates which took 35 mins to come out all seperate times mind you. Once we were seated we were pretty much forgotten about / avoided. Staff were just ignorant of customer service :( Took ages for them to bring out our drinks. Maybe because it’s a public holiday everything was out of sorts for them. Just the sushi didn’t taste fresh, they went a bit heavy handed with the soy on the dishes so 2 plates were just inedible. Very disappointed can’t say I’ll be coming back.
Standard sushi not making a good veriaty to select from
I love sushi, but If I eat crab or shellfish I become very sick and had to stop going as they don't wash the knifes when making the dishes. They always have line ups at peek times i.e. all of dinner time and lunch.
The sushi selection and quality was good
On 14 Feb 2021, we were invited by our Uncle and Aunty to Kintaro Sushi Norwood for dinner. About 8 pm My uncle (95 years Old) made payment in cash. When we walked out the shop, one of their staff chased us shouted, "Did you paid ?" in front of people standing outside their shop.We felt extremely embrassing . My uncle was very upset of being huminated and rushed back to the shop. The said staff checked the cash register and said "All good". He was not apologitic and thought it was right to accured of non-payment without check the certainty. this act was un-Australian.
