114 Lygon Street Carlton 0, Melbourne
Very conveniently located on Lygon street in the heart of Carlton. Friendly staff, chic setting and delicious food. Very reasonably priced as well so perfect for that mid week hunger.
Was really excited to try this place. Really missing Singaporean food having grown up there. We ordered laksa, chicken curry, beef rendang, satay etc. Service was lovely and itβs a nice restaurant but the food was... average. Probably nothing wrong to Australian taste buds but just really missed that mark to throw me back home. Curry chicken was watery and way too sweet. Huge portions though! Iβd rather smaller portions but more authentic.
Ordered Singapore laksa and k,,,/teow this afternoon, taste was extremely bland and not appetizing. A small serve of sambal cost $1 for done in customers!!??
Brilliant singapore's taste. Try nasi gorang if u like rice, Mee gorang if u love noodles. Try the beef randand with roti paratha if u arent worried about calories and kung pao chicken if u can tolerate spice. And dont forget thw hot tea after u finish up food.

I really enjoy this place. Staff are nice and the meals were pretty good for the price.
Came back to KK after more than 2 years away. We had the black carrot cake, mee pok and teh gao siew dai (thick tea, less sweet). Good to know that they maintained the standard of the food, and got the TGSD just right as well.
Very delicious and well cooked
First time dined here was in March 2012. Food was ok lah. Service was ok lah. Price was ok lah. Place was clean lah. Overall was ok lah. I still prefer Papa Roti.
