114 Lygon Street Carlton 0, Melbourne
Food was amazing. It was prepared really quickly, came within 10 minutes. The flavour is pretty close to home, can't find any restaurant like it. The smokey flavour of the horfun is one of the highlights. Love the carrot cake, it has got the savoury vegetable/chilli sauce with it that I cannot find anywhere in Melbourne. Bloody good! Fish all noodles was amazing too, night be abit spicy for some. got the soft shell crab with cereal, again that tasted great, the sweetness of the cereal combined with the savoury crab blended well and it is crunchy too! The price is great and I would come back/10. I had to get take away as well with such awesome Singaporean dishes. Drinks were slightly more pricey but that's nit picking
Killiney Kopitiam is a nice small authentic Malaysian restaurant located in the centre of Carlton, they have authentic dishes like Nasi Lemak and Singaporean Carrot Cake which taste amazing, the workers are very friendly and the prices aren't too bad. If you're in the area or craving Malaysian street food then Killiney is the spot to visit.
Friendly staff, efficient. Serves fast esp when you are so hungry!!!. Authentic Mee Poh and Mee Kia ta. Yummy yum food. Love the fried Chai Tao Kueh. Will come again😋
I haven’t had a lot of Laksa but the Soft Crab Laksa that I got to savour here was by far the best I have ever had. If you’re starving and want something that will fill you up to your neck then this dish is the way to go. They also have some interesting non alcoholic beverages. It is definitely lame that there is no alcohol and they don’t let you bring your own either.
Cosy place and welcoming staff. Quickly serviced despite somewhat busy time. We had a quick snack of kaya toast with drinks. Kaya toast was cold but still tested nice. Coke float was well worth the price. We also had the Singapore Laksa, Hainanese Chicken Rice, and Mee Goreng, fish ball soup.
Went there on a Saturday to eat lunch and some Kaya toast. The Kaya toast was on point, tables were clean, self-serve water. It's a cosy place. I had the Mee goreng, which was pretty nice.
This restaurant serves Malaysian food.. I recommend nasi lemak and teh tarik.. good taste and good price
I loved the candel drink. Unusual taste but refreshing. Putty I spilled quarter of it in the car. The rest was still enough. You must try it. I will come back to try their food.
Number one Singaporean food in Melbourne. 3 things that I like... 1. Authentic taste (kaya toast > curry chicken with roti > grass jelly drink > nasi goreng fried rice) 2. Great value and generous portion 3. Typical Singaporean ambiance Definitely will be back for more.
Good food, reasonable price and exceptional service. Will always come back. Very authentic too.
