First time trying Afghan food but it did not disappoint. Service was good and there are many seats available inside. I ordered the ashak and the eggplant, both were very flavourful. Only downside to this restaurant is the price but overall would come here again.
Great food but portion size was surprisingly less (mains not even enough for 1 person) and add to that poor service and delay in serving customers.
Delicious authentic Afghan food and a very neat and clean area. I ordered the Ashak and some fries, best believe when I say the Ashak really tasted like a true home made Ashak the one where your mother would be making as you get home from work, super tired and that first bite just gives you the hint of relaxation. I had just got off the plane, really exhausted and wanted some good food before going back to my hotel to rest up and honestly it was amazing. However the service was alright. The guy didn't know I was Afghan, and so his service was alright in comparison to the other customers who he knew well, this is ridiculous because what was written on the menu I did not get it all, for example the chutney with the meal as I had also ordered a chicken tikka, Aush and the Bolani.
I came back for the Khaybar Special. Freshly baked bread, amazing shish. Lots of seating inside
The owner is really polite and friendly. Food was delicious, you could tell they used best and fresh ingredients! Highly recommended!
Nice kebab and rice was abit hard.
Fabulous food so tasty and delicious. So many new things to try, the Mantu Lamb and the Chive Dumplings are to die for and the Eggplant Buranee Bafenjan was amazing. The Kofta Challaw meatballs were yummy but a smaller serve. The Afghani bread is great to soak all those yummy sauce's with. The Khybah Special mixed chicken lamb and mince Skewers is also very tasty and tender. Can't wait to go back and try some more dishes.
The Hot Bread Was Amazing ✌🏻
World class service by friendly team of staff willing to help and offer advice about what to eat and recommendations. Khaybar special was exquisite! You won't leave unsatisfied. Public multi level parking out back of restaurant. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend for family outing
Great authentic cuisine. Fast service, family run restaurant. If you’re planning on going here you must try the afghan dumplings called Mantu, filled with meat and topped with a garlicy yoghurt sauce, bean sauce and freshly ground coriander. The other must have is the Qaboli Pallaw, rice dish with lamb sautéd carrots nuts and raisins.
