Jing Jai Thai

It was terrible , I found a bug in my food (barramundi whole fish curry) and they kept saying it was from the salad. But my point was why would there be a bug on the first place in the barramundi fish. They did not even sort the matter nicely.

The food is nit that good really big pieces of chicken in green curry and not that soft. The green curry is salty.

Loved this place for ages but, (maybe it's the lockdowns and economy) but it's not great anymore. One dish we had recently had one prawn and three small pieces of chicken in among the noodles. I'd rather they put up the prices than skimped.

Fast service, delicious food, great menu. This place has so many tempting options on the menu, all with pictures and details. The signature dish with the purple noodles is as tasty as it is pretty. The purple butterfly pea and Pandan drink is nice but feels a bit industrial. Chicken wings are sour and delicious. We will be definitely coming back!

Been to many THAI restaurants in Melbourne and this one is one of the best out there. Ordered Pad Krapow Kai (Chicken Basil) and this by far the best one in town. Will try other menu next time. So far so good.

Super tasty, helpful staff, simple cafe style, quick service and food delivery, although not all served at same time.

Average quality Thai food. The menu looks great in terms of variety and the description sounds mouth-watering. However, actual delivery is disappointing. I ordered softshell crab apple salad and fish with tamarind sauce. The salad was too salty and the portion was small for the price. The fish dish was of decent size but it was too sweet. There could be less use of seasoning (salt, sugar, etc.) Last but not least, the Thai milk tea was also a miss which tasted like sugar water with some milk.

The food was good... But a bit slow. We got our salad and skewers as the last dish. 3.5 stars

WORST GROUP DINNER! Never written a restaurant review in all of my days but this experience was so bad here goes: Staff were visibly stressed and confused. Table of 9 people (we booked well in advance for Xmas staff party) but they couldn’t even take our food orders correctly or handle our table service on the night. They ran out of Coconut Rice (during peak time)????... They completely missed my entire order (soup, salad and main) and when I questioned this they said “it was still coming” but it never did, so I had to share food with my friend sitting next to me. The table attendant brought us a main that we didn’t order and she was that incompetent that we had to explain several times that it didn’t belong to our table, yet she kept pestering us with it as if we were wrong. She also brought us boiling hot soup with her bare hands, so we never gave her a hard time as she clearly wasn’t coping and kept running off to clear other tables, the poor thing. When we questioned another staff member where our papaya and mango salads were she said that “it will take time to make”. It sure did. We got them just as we were about to leave, so when we asked for containers to take them home, they had the actual nerve to charge us for the containers and plastic bag to take them home in! There was not one apology, or a discounted bill for the shocking delays and horrendous communication throughout our experience. The actual worst.

Very nice food but a bit salty. The giant seafood bowl just tastes exactly like Thai instant noodle soup we bought at Asian store, so recommend to order some small plate instead of this bowl 😂
