Everytime we come to Melbourne we wait however long we have to to get in. It's a family tradition. We love it.

Amazing taste, most is very spicy. Which luckily i love. The waiter mixed up our order though and ordered two mains, instead of two entrees and one main. Which ended up being fine and we did not say anything. Love love love the bloody longrain - very spicy!

35 South Wharf Promenade Off Dukes Walk, South Wharf 3006, Melbourne

Great food, brilliant location with outdoor seating along the river. But minus points for playing obnoxious rap music from the 80s. Think "prince of Bel air' theme rap running on repeat while trying to enjoy your dinner.

Beaney Lane Off Russell Street Adjacent Grand Hyatt 3000, Melbourne

I went there last weekend for a friend’s birthday party. He had booked a booth in the VIP area. We each paid $120 for a package. Such good value we got heaps of shots, a bottle of Chivas , bottle 666 vodka, bottle of Moet , platter of food and $300 drink card. And with the bottles they bring out about 20 mini bottles of coke and lemonade and cranberry. It was just like Tao in Las Vegas. At the end of the night a waitress went around with about 100 cheeseburgers for everyone in VIP. We were told the owner sometimes sends a waiter to McDonalds to buy them for everyone. It was such a good surprise and just what you need at end of a big night.

Totally agree with the comment below about the food being delicious, but disagree about the price. You pay for what you get, and I believe the food is priced well for what you get. Service top shelf. Will defiantly visit again. Many thanks.

Good food and service. For those who don't like spicy food, let them now. Even their "mild" can be spicy for some. But I enjoy that stuff. Can't complain. Can't complain.

Awesome thai food, brilliant pad thai and great curries. The service is always friendly and welcoming. Lunchtime specials are also great value at only $10. Have taken lots of people here and the feedback is always super positive. Highly recommended.

Glen Waverley 171 Coleman Parade Glen Waverley, VIC 3150 0, Melbourne

It's a terrific place, they serve nice for a fairly reasonable price. The thing I loved the most was how they presented the desserts. Instead of a plain old menu, a waiter comes to you with the desserts on a tray. They then show it to you and explain each one of them. It's splendid. My favourite was the indulgent chocolate cupcake :). The only thing I will complain is that the entrance is quite squishy, and the limited space available in the restaurant means they've tried to cram as many tables as possible into the restaurant. That makes it a bit squishy and difficult to walk through the restaurant. Plus all the people makes it noisy. But in general, it's a good restaurant.

Sook Bar & Restaurant

98 Smith St Collingwood 3066, Melbourne

We went here on a Saturday night and they had only been open three days. For entree we had chicken satay, the balance of chilli and peanut sauce was spot on and the chicken was lovely and moist. For Main we had red duck curry with all sorts of interesting things like pineapple and grapes, chicken pad krapoi - a stir fry dish with a colorful array of vegies, and beef salad. All dishes had an excellent balance of chilli and sweet and all meat was cooked to perfection. There was a dipping sauce with chilli if you wished to add. Most tables had people on them. The service needs to lift it was pleasant but patchy, small things like not pouring my husbands beer when they had time, and not offering me a glass of wine with the main dishes. Despite this we will be going back as we live near and I love Thai food. Plenty of Gluten free options as well.
