The Illawarra Hotel

Been a couple of times over the past few months and loved it! The new house band is sooooo much fun and the individual entertainment is really great too! Great night out for a feed and to sit and listen to live music. They’ve done such an awesome job doing the place up! Well done 👍👍

Great atmosphere! First time visitors & Jerry on the door explained the layout and where amenities were, gave us a mini tour and was extremely welcoming. Awesome staff member, super friendly and helpful!

Was a nice night out. Drinks are a bit expensive, but overall liked the place. With Covid though, you may need to line up to get in. Staff were very friendly.

Renovation seem to have worked out. Well laid out with seperated public bar and dance club. Allowing you to sit down and have a drink in moderate quiet, or get in amongst it with the open-air dance floor and stage set.

Highly recommend for any occasion, the Illawarra has everything for a night out or simple meal with an atmosphere! I find myself going here often because nothing in Wollongong really stacks up to the experience of the Illawarra. Staff go above and beyond, couldn't rate this place high enough!

Lovely venue! Saw my mates play in a band, staff told me I wasn’t allowed in with my top shirt buttons done up, felt a bit homophobic, lovely place though!

The makeover of the place is worth the revisit and I simply loved the Bingo dance idea.... I simply enjoyed the night. Most importantly the place no more gives the shady dance pub look anymore.

What an amazing transformation. Loving the new look and feel Illawarra. Top experience all round really, the family had a great time. We'll be back for sure 👌
