BEST PLACE EVER!

Too less choice for menu.

Went for lunch on the Sunday of the long weekend with a group of friends and had a lovely experience. The owner, Renato, is very friendly and accommodating and tries to give his personal attention to each table. He generously brought us a complimentary selection of antipasti to try and when one of our group requested a dish that was not on the menu, he said they could make it for him. The food was well presented and reasonable-sized portions. Not a cheap place, but the experience is worth it. Outdoor tables in summer ideal. There is also a quaint, very European-style room downstairs used for private functions up to 50. Would return again.

My partner and I had lunch here today and the staff were amazing. The owner Renato (sorry if I spelt that wrong) went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful experience. My partner was curious about a special that was no longer available and he went out of his way to make it possible even though we were happy to order other food. He gave us a heads up that there might be a delay with making the dish of about 10-20 minutes, never the less both my pasta and the special were delivered at the same time and were both hot, showing the kitchen was well prepared. The food itself was amazing and I cannot speak more highly of this place. 10/10 the best Italian restaurant I have been to ever. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic, authentic Italian food.

Fantastic customer service, cosy vibes and delicious, authentic Sicilian cuisine! The owner, Renato was very attentive to us all evening and you could tell how passionate he is about his food. We tried the tasting course and for the amount of food you get, it's such a good deal! The entrees are a selection of various Sicilian classics, my favourite would be the eggplant caponato and the panelle (chickpeas) but everything was really yum. You can select your own main as part of the course. The pasta was so flavoursome with the ragu, and my favourite was the swordfish casarecce (seafood flavour was so good in the sauce!). You can also never go wrong with the dessert here!

Great flavours with good service. Enjoyed the olives and antipasto platter to share. Very tasty. For main I ordered the Ravioli. As a vegetarian option the flavours were stunning. Good selection of wine by glass and bottle.

Great real Italian (Sicilian, to be precise) food, in a cosy place with a lovely and friendly atmosphere. Absolutely recommend. We wish we would live in Melbourne to make it our favourite place!
