Ichioku Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant

An entertaining experience and the food was pretty good. Nothing crazy, but pretty nice. The chef was the highlight, very entertaining, and the machine gun eggs were the icing on the cake - or should I say, the prawn on my fish 😉. So for that four stars - but it was already expensive at $38/head and they charged us an extra $12 on top without telling us. I wouldn't have minded if they were upfront about charging for corkage or the chef's special throwing skills, but it came as a surprise to us after we left the restaurant. So overall a positive experience but expensive for not that much food, and they didn't take our Dine and Discover vouchers. 🔫

Food was nice & reasonably priced, however not overly impressed with our experience. It is not a restaurant that one could say caters for relaxed adult dining. It is more suited for children & youth parties or groups wanting a party atmosphere.

We went here for my birthday dinner. It's more of an "experience" and "entertainment" rather than dining. It's fun and we laughed our hearts out. The food is just okay.

We went here on Friday night 5 of us for a going away party. Wannu was our chef-absolute legend so funny and engaging..tasty food and well worth the money. Definitely recommend going with a group of friends for a night out or even pres to get the night started on fun terms. Can't wait to come back

A unique experience - a lot of fun and laughter! Don't go here if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing dining experience. Great for all ages. The food is very flavourful. Note it is BYO only with corkage fees.

I love this place! The chef was amazing and very funny. He made my birthday night. Would highly recommend this place for an event or even a fun night out with a friend!

Very disappointing and not value for money. The beef was terrible and very small portions of food, the soft drink was flat. I won't be going again.
