Never failed to delight ,my wife. The staff are really lovely! Their hot chocolate is definitely wonderful! Not to underestimate their Gateaux selection or their waffles! And definitely not so expensive, for sure!
The Chocolate made here is even better than Cadbury Choc in my opinion. Smooth, creamy Chocolate. We bought the flaky chocolate coated Marshmallows and the taste is amazing, the marshmallow is like a light mousse and not overly sweet, so when its coated with House of Anvers chocolate, when you take that first bite, its a wow combination for sure! The chocolate shop has little sample bags ready to try and browsing around was fun. You can eat in at their cafe and also tour the chocolate factory with history to read as you wander through. Great place, we ended up going back for more, before we left Tasmania. I wonder if I can buy online, its that good!!
For chocolate lovers 😀. Chocolate tasting available on the left side of the property in a different building. Purchase of chocolate or dinning available (we love the waffles!) There is also a viewing platform with informative facts around chocolate and chocolate making where you can see some of the tools and processes involved in chocolate making. Inside the main building there are stands where additional information about House of Anvers. Outside sitting available and a large cark park. It can be busy at times and booking might be wise.
Beautiful place! I only went to the chocolate shop and had a vegan cherry ice cream that was very nice 🥰 Plenty of chocolate, very nice staff! They were super nice and patient even though we arrive at closing time! Outdoor spaces are beautiful! I recommend
Extremely nice ice cream.. I did the pepperberry and honey.. Very nice
Authentic chocolate lovers paradise. This place has it all. Atmosphere, products, history, flavors, openness. I tried the chili dark chocky and it was a mouthwatering and full-flavored experience. The cakes tasting was a perfect match. Traditional and cinnamon hot chocolates were also delicious. GF options.
Chocolate, so much chocolate. We visited the Tasting Centre, there were lots of free samples to try. Great hampers and gifts selections to take home for our family too.
Delicious lunch. I had the grilled halloumi, served with olive tapenade, a creamy yoghurt curd and the chefs special salad. Lemon butter cocktail potatoes and chilli jam. Was so fresh and tasty I would highly recommend. My daughter had the waffles 🧇 with banana and caramel sauce. Was a generous serve.
Mmmm... chocolate. How could anyone not give this place 5 stars! It was simply delicious. We had the waffles (if you don’t have a massive sweet tooth, share with a friend) and some hot chocolates. I had the chili hot chocolate, which was great for the first few sips but If you’re not the biggest fan of chili chocolate just go for a regular. I found the flavor of it didn’t sit with the waffles too well. Still yummy though! And an enjoyable experience looking at all the old chocolate paraphernalia.
Who doesn't love a place revolved around chocolate?!? Very enjoyable, friendly staff, good coffee with the option of a cup or mug (very crucial in my opinion!) And of course, nice chocolate and cakes! IMPROVEMENTS: More Gluten Free options, they were lacking for our group of 90% gf people including myself:( Otherwise, overall very good, with nice gardens and windows to watch the workers making the chocolate, I can't complain!
