Hot Tamale

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to (disclaimer: I've never been to Mexico). I recommend getting a range of starters and smaller items to share among your group. Very tasty, very filling.

Food was so lovely here. My husband and I big mexican food fans and this place didn’t disappoint. Great portion sizes too! We also were in time for happy hour, which was $6 for a beer and $10 margaritas The only reason for 4* rather than 5, was the waitress wanted us to sign in using app which we couldn’t do as we didn’t have the app (coming from NSW) only when my husband insisted on manually signing in the let us sign using the book register, which they could have offered to begin with

We love coming to the Hot Tamale! The setting is beautiful, the margaritas are deli and the service is generally excellent. The food is pretty authentic and we love getting a mix of entrees especially the Elote con crema, cerviche and chips and salsa. We come every time we are in Darwin.

Delecious food especially vegetarian options love it and the service is the best . I had a really good experience.

The Ceviche here is so bloody good. I could eat it every day. The spicy margarita is also excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient and I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon here. Cheers!

Great food and service. I had the burrito bowl and it was the best I've ever had, fresh and full of flavour.

Staffing was ok. The food was good, we had a simple meal of nachos and a fish taco both of which were well done and would go back for them alone.

Super friendly staff, great vibes, killer view and really tasty food! A great place to spend a weekend lunch in the sunshine and unwind.
