We went there today and no one welcomed us so we just chose a table . We chose the table in the corner to maintain social distancing as mandated by the government. When I went to the counter, the guy with glasses asked me " Did someone let you seat there?" In a condescending tone. He was explaining that next we should ask someone to let assist us.
My points are:
First:not all will know that someone should assist them to choose a table before they can be seated so there should be someone greeting customers in the front
Second: if that is the case and no staff can attend to in the front then they should have at least put a sign
Third: It wasn't busy at all when we went there, so is there something wrong if someone chooses their preferred table
Fourth:we are with adults and one of them is already experiencing hypoglycemia and we have to let him sit right away
To the guy who was rude to us, if you are having a bad day... please don't let it affect the way you treat customers. If you are not happy in dealing with customers then I think it's time to reconsider changing career.
