Hofbrauhaus

Enjoyed our visit with a lively boisterous atmosphere, hearty food and live music. The reason I couldn't give 5 stars is due to the fact there was no Hofbrau original available, also the wait-staff kept making mistakes with what table to deliver food, we receiving someone else's before we pointed out their mistake then our food was delivered to someone else's table. And the Bratkartoffeln was quite burnt. But our other meals and sides were delicious.

Another example of One of the best German restaurants in Melbourne, with an interesting variety of delicious entrees and mains that can be shared with a small to medium sized group. Hofbrauhaus Melbourne also has a great ambience, nice seating arrangements and very helpful and polite staff. Hope to see some live music/entertainment the next time we visit and maybe even try their beers!

Staff here are amazing. Waiters are great but particularly the bar staff, really customer based. Friendly, generous and fun. I couldn’t ask for more from my night here. The boss needs to give them all a little pay rise. Peace, Chicken Smallhorn.

The service was lovely. The live music was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the pork knuckle :)

Food was FANTASTIC beer is LIT and the music takes you to heaven.... The staff was very nice and the manager is so friendly even gave us free shots.. for the first time in years we found our best restaurant in melbourne .. this is totally a FIVE STARS Restaurant .. we will come again ... regards Mako&Viki

Awesome Venu and my favourite German food in the city. I would highly recommend going when the band is playing (last time I was there we got free schnapps for singing the loudest)

The place is a Melbourne institution. They do live up to their title as the original and best. Lots of hearty dishes and a great selection of beers too.
