Pretty Bad!The barbecued pork and soya chicken sold in the Hong Kong vegetable market are much better than it.

When I heard Hawker Chan recently introduced roast duck to the menu, I decided to give it a try as I'd been craving for roast duck for a while! I went with a group of friends for lunch yesterday and we had the best time!! I have visited Hawker Chan (CBD restaurant) numerous times for their yummy soy chicken ever since they first opened in early 2018. So was so excited to return again! We ordered the following to share:  Crispy Roast Duck (half serve)  Roast duck Rice  Roast duck with egg noodles  Soy chicken Rice  Roast Chicken Leg  Roast Pork platter  Premium Char Siu with stock rice  Wonton soup  Spicy wonton soup  Prawn Tofu with mayo  Bok choy vegetables  Soybean milk  Chrysanthemum tea  Plum juice The prices are very reasonable, and the quantity size is perfect! The roast duck is soooo tasty, juicy and flavourful! Very similar to the typical Hong Kong style roasts I grew up eating! There is soo much meat on the duck! We ordered a variety with half duck, roast duck rice and roast duck with egg noodles. Whenever I used to visit to get their famous soy chicken I always order with egg noodles because their special sauce soaked in the noodles is soo tasty!! So I actually recommend to get the roast duck rice with egg noodles, cannot go wrong! But of course if you prefer rice its also good too!! I really enjoyed the roast chicken leg, marinated perfectly, super tender and very tasty! The stock rice that came with the premium char siu was sooo delicious and the char siu was very tender and juicy as well. I also recommend the prawn tofu – its something that I’ve never ordered before, but tastes soo good, especially dipping into the roast duck juices on the plate hehehe!! Their signature soy chicken is just as the same as every time I visit. Very silk smooth, tasty and all rounder a comfort dish!! Had a really enjoyable lunch at Hawker Chan. Cant wait to return for more roast meat feasts!!

Much Smaller portion of food and drink comparing to when the shop first opened up.. the taste of food is way too terrible than when it first opened up...it also charges customer 10 percent extra even if it is using direct debit ..not even a credit card... Doubt itis a start rated restaurant...

Disappointed. We came here expecting a michelin starred hawker, but the foods did not taste as expected. The foods were not hot. Duck and chicken skins weren’t crispy. The only difference between small and regular size is the amount of meat (in my case, 5 extra pieces of crispy pork). They also added a shrimp paste sambal for the noodles. At least the foods were still edible.

Amazingly tender and juicy chicken, that's perfectly seasoned. Their roast pork is really good too. Great place for comfort food.

Been standing here for the past 5 mins, the guy did not even give me an eye contact. Did not ask me to wait for a moment or any acknowledgement that I am here. Just ignored me. I get you're busy, you could at least say you're sorry for keeping me waiting and that you would be with me shortly. Poor customer service. And charged me $5 surcharge because it's a weekend???

Underwhelming soya chicken and rice dish. Rice cold and chicken very small. The rice with soya chicken is slightly overrated but the noodles with soya chicken is quite good.

Severely overrated (if you follow the Michelin Guide) restaurant specialising in Cantonese-style roast meat. Extremely small portions of meat and rice with flavours comparable to other Cantonese-style roast meat restaurants in the CBD. I'd say it tastes a little nicer than Pacific BBQ House, feels cleaner than Rose Garden and, unfortunately, isn't as satisfying as China Bar on Russell St.

It's all hype. Ordered the char sui pork with broth rice, not much flavour on it. Cheap and quick service though, I give that some points.

Can't go wrong. Cheap and delicious. Feeds two people for less than $30. The char siu noodles is my favourite although some days the cut is fattier than others.
