Hanuman Restaurant Darwin

Excellent restaurant with excellent food ! A friend highly recommended this Indian Thai restaurant and Wow it did not disappoint. The menu selection is big and all are very impressive choices, we decided to stick with three traditional curries being butter chicken, lamb Rogan josh, and beef vindaloo.

Poor service from the restaurant staff, not courteous and welcoming.....would not visit again for sure.

I had dinner to celebrate my friend's birthday. I ordered a chocolate cake & asked the staff to put candles on it. But, the staff forgot to put the candles on, and brought it to my friend straight forward. I had to bring the cake back to the staff, and asked her to redo it, which was so embarrasing. Food was okay, but because of the poor service & absent minded staff. I won't go again forever! Also, I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone!

It was a weekday and the restaurant was still so busy. My stay in Darwin was better with delicious food from Hanuman.

Oh the food was delectable, every dish mouthwatering and beautifully presented. We had the Hanuman oysters (their signature dish) bursts with flavour. The onion & cheese kulchan, soft, cheesy n delicious. Tom Yum soup, sour, salty n creamy with generous seafood. Singapore chilli prawns, lovely & spicy & again generous. And the tasting plate, crisp, juicy money bags amongst a myriad of other delightful morsels. Very attentive, friendly staff. A must if you're in Darwin. Highly recommend!

Dinner was sensational, wine list delicious and the service impeccable. Highly recommend.

Food tastes really nice. But cost is a little on the higher end.

The dine in experience feels rather impersonal. You can tell they are just churning through the numbers and the restaurant always seem busy. Waitstaff need better training to refrain from constantly interrupting eating customers to ask how things are. We don’t need that every 10 minutes from different staff members.

The food here is really good. Flavours are well balanced and the menu give the unique opportunity of Thai and Indian foods. Price is as expected of the quality of food - high
