Good coffee but so very busy that we decided on takeaway

Bread was a bit tough, and Eggs did not taste as fresh than expected, something not quite right with the avo. Also felt the coffee was bit overpriced for what you get. The outdoor setting was good, however the tables are a bit tight for four people.

Stopped by this cafe as it had vegan options and barista coffee on a long drive back to Sydney. It was great to see there were vegan options, even having nuttlex and Oatly, however we waited over 30 minutes for our vegan loaf and banana bread to be toasted and brought to us. Other customers (locals) who order full size breakfasts after us, got their food first... Not happy for a first impression of this cafe that I had been looking forward to visiting since planning my trip over a week ago...will try Oliver's next time, who also have vegan options.

The best scrambled egg, egg n bacon roll ever...... BTW great coffee as well. Just in case it matters excellent value.

Food reasonably priced, fresh and delish. Very busy almost hidden treasure.

When you travel from Victoria to NSW you resign yourself to bad coffee 🤣. Well I was blown away by Grit, fantastic coffee amazing food and a gorgeous decor. It may be tucked away but it's definitely worth finding!!

Delicious food, great coffee reasonable prices, healthier options. Sandwiched between Macdinals and the bakery cafe.

So glad I found this place. It's great to have good food options on roadtrips and Grit Cafe delivered perfectly. Great food. Great coffee. Great staff and all served quickly without feeling rushed. So much nicer than the cattle class of the neighbouring establishments. I also noticed a few locals meeting for meals so that says a lot willing to be amongst the crowds driving through. Great work Grit team. It's now a must every time I'm travelling through.
