Excellent food and coffee

Really cool little cafe. Friendly, prompt service, awesome choice of healthy yummy food and gluten free options if you need and good coffee.

Beef burger was good but the corn fritters were very average and starchy, service would be ordinary at best, one of our orders was missed and when asked about it, they did not even have the courtesy to come back and inform us that was the case until we had to chase it up the second time. I have re ordered it and it took ages (about 10 minutes) to (just a baby chino) make! in fact until we have all finished our meal and had to sit there trying to pacify our little girl and justify why her drink never arrived. In the end we went to the counter and realized they forgot it again, voila, decide for yourself whether it’s worthwhile a visit .

Coffee was nice and general atmosphere good. I got the scrambled eggs and while it tasted really good, the serving size was small. $10 is certainly on the cheaper side but would rather pay $12 for a bigger portion as was left hungry after.

Goulbourn seems to have an abundant selection of amazing Cafe’s and Grit is one of them. Great service, excellent coffee and their burgers are delicious! Lots of outside seating so options for all! Would highly recommend a visit!

Great cafe just by the Big Marino. Coffee was excellent, Benedict’s had an amazing decedent hollandaise sauce that they made less rich with a lovely splash of lemon tang. Will definitely come here again!

Food was simple but good. Coffee excellent. Service was fast and with a smile. Recommend for a fresh meal n coffee and back on the road

Love this place!!!. Best eggs benedict, especially with salmon. Great coffee too, and yummy cakes and slice
