Goldfish Hunter Valley Restaurant

Booked lunch about a week in advanced, booking & confirmation was easy to do. When we arrived we were told we would be seated outside. My parents are older now and we asked if the heaters could be turned on as it was quite windy and cold that day. We were told they didn’t work. Service was good but definitely felt as though the servers did not have adequate time to serve us and we’re more focused on the large group of young people arriving to eat inside, which could be a staffing issue more than anything. Food was incredible as always, it’s on the expensive side but 100% worth it. Please provide wind shields or working heaters if you are going to continue to serve meals outside during winter.

We had a table of 6 people. Lovely decor, nice looking bar. We had $50 set menu and we had to take food home. So lovely place to eat, drink and chat.

Love the decor and the staff were really nice. Cocktails are expensive but very yum and have a decent amount of alcohol in them. The fish tacos are verrrrrry small especially considering the price but they did pack a lot of flavour. The Mediterranean salad is beautiful as well.

Great staff, super friendly, they squeezed us in, food came out quick and was yummy. The atmosphere is really nice to. Would love to go back again.

Service was friendly. Lots of outside dining space. We sat out in the sun overlooking the lawns and vines. Next time would sit inside....the bar and seating area looks amazing...definitely visit again!!!

Great pizza! Matched by the lovely staff. Funky interior too, will definitely eat here again when we return to the Hunter.

Wow, absolutely blown away by the food and service at this place! Came here to celebrate my 21st with my partner and the staff were so lovely and joyful! The beef tenderloin is a big recommendation to anyone looking for a good piece of meat! 11/10 for this place, I’m looking forward to coming back shortly for some more wonderful drinks and wonderful food! 🤤

Excellent food and top service. Great for kids

The food was great. We had share seafood platters and couldn't finish everything on the platter. Service staff were really friendly and personable. Recommend here for a great feed and good value.

I thought the service was oustanding, i don't think i've ever experienced more friendly and attentive waitors/waitresses. Food and cocktails were great! Will definitely be back one day soon :)
