Really enjoyed the format of the share plates. It was nice to enjoy the plates together with my partner. Lovely service and a good selection of gin. Would like to come back next time I'm in Launceston.

Nice place to have a date! The best part was the dessert, I am still in love with it! Also, try their croquette! It is from heaven!

Grand atmosphere. A nice place to enjoy a bite or an evening cocktail with someone you love. Staff are 10/10.

Ambiance here is great, and the service was good. Most of the food was lovely, particularly the croquettes. Disappointing how the menu is set out. Customers are forced to pick menu selections which are very overpriced. For $50pp you get 5 small plates. With one item per person and two desserts. When you break that down it's $15 plate. It's not good value for money and such a shame that they are so rigid. Would probably make more profit and have customers leave happier if they were afforded the flexibility to chose how much to order. Nice, but would not come back or recommend.

Lunch with mainland sister & friend. My first visit. Entrees a bit hit & miss but mains delicious - I had the porterhouse with Duck Fat potatoes and a side of French green beans. Others had the orecchiette which was fantastic. Service spot on. Afterwards we moved to the outdoor area for cocktails. So relaxing.

It was a wonderful dining experience. Knowledgeable and friendly waitress, really made the experience outstanding. She expertly adapted the fixed menu meal for my fiance's food allergies. She provided great descriptions of the food and wine parings that piqued our appetite. The food was unique and delicious.

STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. Would’ve wanted to give rating of 0/5. I actually got more and more angry as our dinner progressed and as each plate got served. The amount charged for the quality and serving size of food is incredulous, abysmally small, an absolute RORT. Not even Sydney eastern suburbs would be that unreasonable.... AND, all of the dishes we ordered were actually not that nice - not executed well, not quality ingredients, weird flavour combinations or too salty. I really don’t get the rave ratings about this place! As we weren’t too hungry We ordered the $50 pp menu for a table of 3 of us that comes with 5 small plates to share plus a dessert each... so if you count dessert as $15 per plate, it works out to be $25 PER PLATE OF FOOD WE GOT. You can judge for yourself ...Look at my photos of the portion size we got on each of the 5 plates (and the plating was snack food style, not something you should pay $25 for): - 3 croquettes (ie 1 croquette each), - 3 dumplings (ie 1 dumpling each); - a beef tartare (2 small mouthfuls each) - 3 ravioli (1 each) - 3 tiny tiger prawns - the size of an index finger (1 prawn each). I can honestly say, this is my first restaurant where I was ordering takeaway from a Thai place around the corner, even before all the mains were served as we knew we wouldn’t even be half full by the time we finished.
