TL;DR - Always a great place to start the afternoon or end the night. My experience - I’ve frequented here more times than I can count. They have weekly flavours so there’s always something new each visit (tho it’s a little sad when you fall in love with a weekly flavour and you know you’ll never see it again). The ambiance is like a club - with the pumping music, dark lights, and often including the line up outside. Sorbet and ice cream is so delicious. And there’s different quantities to grab everything in. Staff is friendly And the shop also accepts liven payments which is pretty useful. A great dessert spot all around - even turned some of my non-ice cream eating friends into sweet tooth fiends.
The vegan sorbet is sublime! Never knew about it til my friends took me there. Flavours are out of the ordinary. Super friendly and helpful staff. Funky tunes make it fun. A must visit place in South Brisbane. Iconic. Go there. 😄
I might be the only one like the shake rather than the ice cream here! Love it! Prefer those fruity ones, not too sweet. Super nice staff 👏
Can't I give it 6 stars? Oh boy! One of the best ice creams I've ever had in my life. Pannacota and salted caramel were amazing. Wish I had more time in Brisbane to try them all.

Incredible! Best gelato flavour selection I have seen since Italy, the staff did not hesitate to offer taste tests. Price is amazing for the scoop size. Service was flawless, so happy and friendly. The venue has a nightclub feel which is very unique and memorable! I’m glad I do not live near by because I’d be back every night!
Just amazing icecream and gelato.
Messina is the best ice cream is Brisbane. The staff are great, and don't let the usual long line outside dissuade you, it's there because the ice cream is good. I recommend looking at the specials if you haven't, they're there for a limited time and are usually amazing. This is a double edged sword because it means you keep coming in to taste all the new flavours. Recommend following Messina on Instagram - whoever runs their page is royalty.
