I had the $10 Lunch Special - Beef Goulash which was heartwarming and filling. Add the courteous table service and pleasant surroundings, and you really can't go wrong.
Nice restaurant that offers a mid-range, well-priced high tea which we enjoyed. Slightly dated building but friendly and professional service.

Have been using the restaurant for lunch more than 2 years now and the food has been great. Until a month or two ago NOW IT DOES NOT RATE THE FOOD IS NOW NOT EDIBLE A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT
An old haunt of ours for over 20 years. Great to return there with friends for dinner. Oysters as entree were fabulous. wer had the grilled vegetable salad as mains and our friends enjoyed the beef with Yorkshire pudding, One Tiramisu and a cheese plate completed the meal. helpful staff, although our request for dressing for the salads be on the side was not fulfilled. Regrettably, the cashier declined to split the $400 bill, including tip, between our two credit cards, something that we find extraordinary in an age that is rapidly becomming a cash-free society.
