Grease Monkey
4.3
/ 1425

19 Lonsdale St Braddon, Australian Capital Territory 2612, Canberra

Don't let anyone offer another suggestion, I've been on the hunt for the best burger in Canberra and grease monkey is hands down the best contender so far. Even the infamous brodburger wasn't as fresh or tasty as these fine burgers.

Hellenic Club of Canberra

/ 1078

Matilda Street Woden ACT 2606, Canberra

It is an ok restaurant... It has a kids play area, slots and on some days a fun raffle to win EXPENSIVE-ish things.

Great meals , love the parmas . not much on the outside . But a must see on the inside.

King O'Malley's Irish Pub
4.2
/ 800

131 City Walk 2601, Canberra

We met here most each night after work - close to the office. Cold beer and good food and bands play on certain nights.

Brodburger
4.2
/ 796

Canberra Glassworks, Wentworth Avenue, 11 Printers Way, Kingston Act 2604 0, Canberra

Great burgers. Watch out for the long queues at the weekend though!

Kingston Hotel
4.3
/ 722

73 Canberra Ave Griffith 2603, Canberra

The place is now in 2014 the same as remembered from the late 1970s and need not update which would spoil the way-it-was atmosphere. Pick your own meat and cook it sort of place or the restaurant for pasta or the bar for drinks and pool or the pokies.... Relaxed atmosphere...great for meeting with friends ... not so good for kids and families.

Frugii Dessert Laboratory
4.6
/ 457

28 Lonsdale Street, Braddon 2612, Canberra

Amazing desserts and one of the best chai lattes I've ever had. This is a recent addition to Canberra, opened in January and managed to have a stellar launch. Still going strong and the owners are absolutely lovely, the man who creates and makes all the desserts is super knowledgable and you get a real sense of his passion wen you speak to him. Highly recommend both the product and customer engaged.

The Knox Made in Watson
4.3
/ 536

13 Watson Pl Shop 1 2602, Canberra

This is a fresh and vibrant little restaurant which provided a really lovely eating experience. There is an all day breakfast menu which is always a winner with me and I had some exquisite fritters on a bed of avocado which were really delicious. My friend had an equally lovely dish from the regular menu and then lashed out on a fabulous little lemon meringue tart which looked just lovely. The surroundings were lovely - we were outside, but in the shade and it was quiet (no loud music drowning out our conversation). The staff were friendly and helpful and we came away feeling happy and will definitely be back to try more of the treats on offer.

Sweet Bones Bakery and Cafe.

This Kickstarter funded, community minded local business makes treats so delicious even non-vegans rave about it.

The Civic Pub

Great decor inside. Nice staff. OK prices. Good specials.

Tilley's Devine Cafe Gallery
4.1
/ 541

Corner of Wattle & Brigalow Street 2602, Canberra

Tilley's has really solidly good pub-style food. Nothing here will blow you away, but it's immensely well done, and satisfying. The atmosphere is just about the best canberra has to offer, and the prices are very reasonable. Service is always good. Well worth an evening of your time.

Space Kitchen
4.3
/ 438

Furzer Street Corner Worgan Street 0, Canberra

We went as a group of 7 people for Christmas lunch and everyone really enjoyed their meals, and the desserts were to die for!! Absolutely going back for more!! 👍👍👍

Guild
4.1
/ 476

143 London Ct. Shop 21, Baily's Arcade 2601, Canberra

Guild is great! It's main shtick is the collection of board games, and they do not disappoint on that front. The staff are lovely and will suggest both games and good food to try. Speaking of which, the pizzas are really good. Definitely recommend trying at least once, even if board games are not necessary your thing - you may come away with a new hobby!
