Stunning campground, very well cared for. A clean toilet, fantastic hot shower (bring some coins), friendly and hospitable owners, reasonably priced, can provide fire pit too! The campground is in a great location not far from some shops and the national park. Cute little bar with a lovely view and a couple of games. Overall, great experience - would highly recommend. Great camping grounds with lots of space for large vehicles including caravans. There are some trees but not too many to cause problems with getting the solar panels in a sunny position and relocating as the sun moves during the day. Bec the owner is kind and very helpful. Recommend this site over the nearby busy beach site. Bonus was the good Optus mobile phone reception that is very spotty.

I had the pleasure of camping overnight here last night and it was absolutely fantastic. The owners, Beck and her husband, are lovely people who, despite being extremely busy, were nothing but kind, helpful, and welcoming. The toilet and shower are kept in perfect condition and the bar is a great place to have a beer and look out at the beautiful surroundings. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a place in Freycinet. Thanks for letting me stay! 🥰

Beautiful camping spots with spacious campsites, trees, birdlife, wallabies. The hosts were very friendly and accommodated us last minute when every other campground was booked out. Toilet, hot shower (for $2 coin), firepits to rent. We didn't get to play paintball but I'd imagine it'd be very fun. Oh and they have a bar! 🍻

We booked a night at this "campground" during the high season between Christmas and NYE but when we arrived, we realised it was just a very overpacked grassy field in front of the paintball counter. There was a single bathroom and a shower for the 20 or so caravans. No fill up facilities, black water site, or power option. So basically you're paying $30 a night for a grassy field to park in. We ended up just leaving to find a quieter spot closer to other amenities like water, bathrooms etc.

We originally planned to camp at Friendly Beaches but couldn’t find a spot. After a couple of weeks of camping without facilities this was exactly what we were looking for! Great hot outdoor shower, soft grass for those in tents, bar for adults and jenga/toys for the kids. Only down side was one toilet. We stayed for 4 nights and it was lovely. Thank you!
