Lively Argentinian restaurant best suited for groups than a couple’s night out. The flavours are big, with some more unusual cuts of steak (good to see). The hanger steak was tasty but expensive and the chimi churri lacked a little flavour. The service was always with a smile

This place has been in Hobart for a while now while others come and go quickly ! It was truly great! Food was excellent, fresh, good portion size, delicious, well presented and well priced. Service was attentive, friendly with good attitude. Ambience was a lit loud but cozy and romantic. Overall, we had a great time there again! We would definitely come back again and again !

Good place for meet eater but also they accommodate vegetarians! I've tried the Celeriac steak for the first time and was pretty good!!

Great meal and fabulous service, My hubby (who is a cattle farmer) recons this was one of the best steaks he has ever eaten! Big wraps! And I LOVED the waitresses - great banter but efficient and knowledgeable. Thanks Frank!

Couldn't fault food or service last night. Staff lovely and helpful. Shared the slow cooked lamb shoulder and it was to die for as was the chicken. Loved the beans as a side dish too! Only disappointment is it's not in Melbourne! We will spread the word to our friends in Melbourne and next in Hobart we will return. Thankyou!

Excellent food, although most dishes are vastly overpriced. Standout dish was the lamb and beef mole, incredible flavours and great value. When paying the bill, dad and I asked if we could split it, he would pay for the drinks and I would pay for the food, to which the man replied “yeah just gotta tell me how much”... My guy, that’s kind of your job. Not the end of the world, but a little abnormal for a $400+ three person bill. Otherwise the service was excellent. Would return for that mole.

Really enjoyed our last minute lunch at Frank. Even though it was relatively quiet as it was a weekday, the food was delish. The service was even better - lovely Emma looked after us and was so friendly and also super informative about things to do and see in Tasi.

The food was good BUT the service was reeeaaaaaalllyyyy slow. It took an hour for a 400-gram medium rare steak to be served. Even the desserts took 20 minutes.

Nice food, meat was done perfectly. A bit dark where we were sitting, couldn't even see what our food was like 😄 The high tables were a bit chunky with their flower pattern making it tough to have sharing plates on the surface, even though this place is made for sharing food.
