Perfect french dining. The waiters are characteristically Freñch - warm, sharp, efficient and not intrusive. Meals came out the kitchen at a perfect pacing and the cuisine was brilliant. Sure it is mainly french classics, but beats most other french restaurants for flavour, quality and simplicity. Price is just right and looked very popular. My new go-to french restaurant in Melbourne and perhaps Australia.

I missed the Belgian cuisine for too long, so it tasted even better! Glad they served the Karmeliet in the original glasses as well... 👌

My daughter ask me to give a one hundred star to this restaurant. We had a great time here. I love The mussel and the onion soup. The staff speaks good French. Will definitely come back again.

My wife and I are here from Sydney visiting our daughter, her partner and his family! They highly recommended Franco-Belge so we thought we’d give it a try. WOW....what a seriously amazing place. The food and wine list are awesome! Staff were outstanding and attentive, a huge thanks to Ange our waitress, helpful, informative and fun! Can’t wait to come back again! Thanks guys!

Excellent restaurant that hits the right Gallic notes. The bread was fresh and delicious, the escargo soft and garlicy, the steak tartare perfectly seasoned. Fish cooked to perfection, the Moules were fresh and tasty. Great French wine selection too. Will definitely be back!

What a lucky lot we are to have this in the neighbourhood! I have been here a number of times and the food is excellent and reliable. The service is personal and efficient- once they whipped out a pair of reading glasses for one of our group to use while perusing the menu. Love the steak and the moules for classics and everything else is great!

Great French food and service in a friendly warm atmosphere.The staff were very helpful to squeeze our booking in at the last minute
