Fisheries on the Spit

We ordered calamari and chips. The calamari was perfectly cooked and very delicious. However, the chips were the strangest chips we have ever had. They tasted sort of okay, I guess, but they were yellow! I was a bit disappointed but have still given you a 5 for the calamari.

We were looking forward to our fish'n'chips on the beach after a lovely Sunday walk, but while the chips were delicious *as usual, the crumbed snapper was chewy, tough and very disappointing .. we would not recommend it 😕

A topical fish and chips shop. I order a cod and fish set with coke for$13 . Good deal. And a half dozen of sydney oyster, nice and creamy. Just like what i had in Sydney fish market. Highly recommended the chip with children salt. It's a thick cut.

Great local fish and chip shop. Also serving fresh caught produce. Great sizes of meals with quick service and polite staff. I highly recommend.

The fish and chips from here are very tasty and prices are very reasonable, friendly staff as well. Prawns and oysters are very fresh too. You can even buy beer and wine also. When eating in, the bowl of water with a slice of lemon to clean your fingers is a great idea.

After being stuck in Melbourne for 2020 and not seeing my parents for over 12 months, we had been looking forward to having a big seafood feed together here. We were not disappointed. 3 Moreton Bay Bugs, 600g of prawns, oysters, serve of chips (perfectly cooked, not oily and lightly salted), large tartare, all the lemon pieces and two beers for $100, pretty bloody happy! Everything was perfect! Thank you!
