It has indoor and outdoor seating. Very well supported pub. I enjoyed my coffee and breakfast. Then a pot of tea. Good, friendly service by the bar staff.
Lovely ambience upstairs in the Inn, with the sun setting through the windows and candles everywhere. My friends and I shared the Feed Me option which was delicious and a great way to try 5 dishes plus sides. It was very noisy in the restaurant as it was pretty full, so lean in close to your dining companions!
The service was good and prompt. Food was very good. Good atmosphere. Well supported
Excellent atmosphere, friendly staff and great menu. Terrible cancellation policy though, which is such a shame. I was charged a $40 cancellation fee at 2pm, for a 7pm booking. This policy, which isn't universal with other establishments, has left a bad taste in my mouth.
I’ve been here several times, the food is good and the coffee is generally good (can be hit and miss) but the customer service varies between: fantastic and disgraceful. If you want to take a punt you might have a good time, you also might not.

Lauren and the team were nothing short of awesome!! We held an outdoor function recently. The Edgars team were able to accommodate our requests, including a guest-list of ~60 (with various dietary requirements too!). Lauren was great in the lead up, helping to make sure everything had been thought of and covered. On the day, the staff were amazing! Very friendly, couldn't go out of their way enough to help us with anything we needed. I had so many comments from people that attended about how great the venue and the staff were, so not only would I strongly recommend, now another ~60 people would too!
Such a pleasant spot, although can get quite busy. Love the leafy green outdoor seating and ability to order direct from the table using QR codes.
Every time I am here there is a great atmosphere and good food. Definitely recommend for a week day quiet drink or weekend celebration!
One of Canberra’s best-kept secrets away from the bustling CBD, Edgar’s is a second home to many Ainslie locals. Be it coffee and croissants or craft beer and crabmeat, Edgar’s does it all and does it well. One of the best places to catch live sport, its closed environment provides an intimate atmosphere for customers. The laidback vibe of this venue really comes through on a Sunday afternoon, with live acoustic music to wrap up your weekend.
