Dosa Hut

Came here for some late night chicken biryani. It was decent flavour but there was hardly any chicken pieces, so missed the mark.

We ordered masala dosa and idli and nothing was fresh. The chef remade the order but found a strand of hair in my dosa and we gave up. Oh by the way idli was microwaved so it was hard like a rock. Staff is polite but clueless. Hopeless place.

This Dosa Hut CBD branch is terrible. Getting served Chicken 65 Biryani in a takeaway box when dining in. I feel like the portion size was also smaller. The taste was also lacklustre. Go to the Footscray branch for the real taste. One thing the CBD branch does do well is the Gulab Jamun. It was freshly fried and delicious.

Not sure what is with all the bad reviews. This place has great service, fresh, tasty and authentic food. 5 stars from me!

The food was tasty however the steel jug was dirty in which water was served. Thank God, the glass were disposable ones. If the restaurant could wash the jugs, it would have been better.

From the music to food and furniture Dosa Hut gives the homely feel that I've been looking for in Melbourne. Friendly staff all around. I'd like to give a shout out to Vinesh for great service! You have to try this place out atleast once I think!

Good food but forcing customers to use plastic cutlery while serving hot food is not great. Lot of health issue arise due to this

Very disgusting behaviour by manager named Nandu. He has no skills that a normal manager would have gotten.The owner should take some action and give him a proper training. However, the food is good there and other staff too.

Had a wonderful meal here very nice. Decor could be better but the food was great!
