Our first time dining at Diggies. We enjoyed the food very much and such a beautiful location with lovely wait staff. But we had been at the cafe just short of an hour and were thinking of ordering tea/coffees post meal and boom a gentleman who I assume was the owner told us they needed the table in 10 minutes. I had booked the table and had received a reminder the evening before. There was no notificatiion , either on booking or reminder, to let us know that we only had the table for one hour. We had driven from Sydney and had to vacate on the hour. Very disappointing. 🤔🤔🤔

The food and drinks were so delicious. However, I think the serve was not good in the beginning, because I did a booking in advance to prevent any inconvenient and in the booking I wrote clearly in the section for notes that we were carrying 2 little dogs, however the table was organized inside the restaurant without consider the comment made in the booking. And one of the waitress was a quite rude telling me that I did not write that in the booking, when I am 100% that I did. I understand that dogs are not allow inside, however if they know it previously, why the table was not organize in the outside area?. I reckon for next booking, please check the comments in the booking.

The odd thing is that they don't take more than one NSW Dine voucher for a table no matter how many people are served. This is something I had never experienced with any other businesses. They were claiming it was their POS, but when I asked if that was their system problem they denied. Anyway, to me it is never acceptable to treat customers like that. Maybe they should be kicked out of NSW Dine businesses as they don't care about the customers who would like to be benefited by this facility. I attach the invoice and the manager's writing as evidence. That's a disgrace!!!

An absolute must if you are in the gong. Can be a a pricey spot but you are paying for the best location and staff in the gong. Coffee, salmon croquettes, pancakes & cocktails are amaze. Bench seat is the best seat in the house for 1 or 2 people. Would be nice to see them improve the gluten free bread as it tastes well below average and could find better quality GF toast at coles (esp considering you are paying an additional $3 for the gf ‘bread’) Besides that it is still my main go-to & fav in North gong.

Food was as wonderful as the view looking out onto the ocean. Went on a Friday night for dinner and was able to book for two, normally for breakfast and lunch they only take bookings for 5 or more. Will certainly go again.

Great Covid rules here and very friendly staff as well as super attentive. Ordered the breakfast burrito and would without a doubt would order it again, amazing jalapeno relish on the side. Wife had the breakfast burger, only very small issue here, no sauce on the top bun and only the bottom, so it made it a tad dry. Maybe get the relish on the side to add to it? Diggies is always a favour of ours and can honestly say we have never had a bad experience.

Coffee is good. However meal are quite pricey with small amount. 2 mins After meal ordered , I was hoping to change my choice. However, kitchen staff said it was made. I know it wasn’t. It’s just been lazy to change. As our meal came after 15 mins. Understand it’s a very busy cafe. However. Customer’s needs seems not the first priority.

Great cafe right down on the beach, we had a perfect window table with that alfresco open window feel such a beautiful popular spot with the locals, we had a beautiful breakfast for family of 4 included eggs Benny, Bircher muesli, big mixed breakfast, Fresh fruit bowl with double espresso and cappuccino the food was of perfect portions and tasted fresh and well presented, the friendly staff were everywhere as this place is well managed and the coffee is great.
