Friendly and fabulous food...

The big breakfast was superb and coffee supreme is an excellent fresh roast. 👍🏼☕

There was nothing suggesting they were going to close in 15-20min, it hadn't even crossed our minds, so we ordered and sat down. Cookies came in paper bags, ok. But an iced coffee squashed under a lid into a short takeaway milkshake cup (80s style), of just ice that took a lot longer for them to make than for us to consume?? They could have just warned us they would be serving us in wasteful non recyclable cups with plastic straws, and I could have had a choice, like go to say one of at least 4 other surrounding cafes. Staff were friendly enough. Though the croissants and bread loafs were being carried by bare hands, either to and from kitchen or shuffled around in their crate, with multiple people prodding them while preparing other food, and handling other things. We only came here as our son wanted a smartie/m&m cookie. Our kid didn't care, but it was flat and hard, very unlike the ones you find with giant chocolate smarties filling the cookie's top. Obviously we'll try a different car next time.

Although the staff were extremely busy, they still took the time to make amazing coffee. The prices are very reasonable and I will be back for more!

During the day, they make excellent coffee and some of the best loose leaf chai I've had in Melbourne, the dirty chai is my staple drink here. They also have well-priced and yum food (and cheap jam-filled donuts). PLUS they have an incredible Middle Eastern dinner menu as well as a Papa Souv collaboration. This place is like 3 venues in one!(?) Staff in the day and evening are different but they're all wonderful! Can't ask for a better local spot, far better than the overpriced Levi cafe nearby.

This place is very special for us locals. The food is delicious but the stuff makes this place. You need to visit and experience it for yourself.

Disappointing Customer Service Pretty disappointed for my first visit to a place that’s highly rated. Attitude and rude customer service for a minor mistake made by the staff. The person serving made an error on my order. Once I got home and noticed that there was bacon in my food, even tho I asked for no bacon. I called the place to notify them about the situation, the person said “next time you come back, we’ll do something about it” With no receipt offered nor given when purchased, I asked how is that going to work when I come back next time and mention it, they can always deny it due to not remembering. The guy said there’s nothing that I can do about it until you visit and just suddenly hangs up the call. I go visit the place, the person serving took no responsibility, no apology or anything sincere. He gave attitude while giving the refund and just handed the money with disgust in his face. The latte was decent, hot chocolate was average. Sadly, a minor mistake that could of been solved with better service.

The almond croissant 🥐 is pretty good
