Creole Soul Kitchen

We love this place. The menu is awesome and the specials each week are so good. We go at least once a week and have always been happy.

We walked in off the street for dinner and were treated extremely rudely by one of the waitresses. She spoke to us in an aggressive tone and overall made the entire place seem unwelcoming. Someone from inside brought us water, which was absolutely amazing table service, but the waitress still left a bitter taste in our mouths and we walked out.

This is a must visit when in Brisbane. We were visiting for a long weekend and discovered Creole Soul food by chance ( we were staying at The Johnson across the road). Despite a busy packed out night, the owner found us a table and set us up for an amazing dining experience. You can tell everyone who works here loves what they do and the service is from the heart (and soul). Even though the kitchen was under additional pressure with a large table, you felt like you were their most important table and all our questions were answered with good humor and the food came out fast. It is what soul food is all about and the food itself was full of flavour. We will definitely be back on our next visit and will recommend this place to everyone for a fun night with great soul food and service.

Amazing food and drinks, and the service is at another level!!

We've been here quite a few times now. Only place in Brisbane for quality Creole and deep south cooking. Absolutely 10/10 recommendation.

There's no such thing as the 'corona blues' with mojito's from Creole. Drink your sorrows away with something super tasty, treat yo' self!

This little place is one of Spring Hills best kept secrets! You have to try a little something from most of the menu to understand why there’s always people smiling at the Creole Soul Kitchen!

Great little bar and restaurant! Friendly and attentive staff and really unique menu. Ordered the chicken and sausage gumbo which was superb!

An owner operated business that is a true gem amongst the restaurant scene! Be sure to make a booking as this place gets packed out quickly. Meals are filled with flavor, love and are generous. You can easily take and trust the recommendations of staff. Cocktails & alcohol offerings aplenty! Hands down one of our most favorite places to dine.

I was feeling down one day, so took myself out for a sandwich here. By the end of the sub I was smiling again. That’s soul food right there.
