The food is very delicious! and the service is great

Love the chips, but I’m going to have find somewhere else to go because it’s incredibly busy. I can see they’ve got tonnes of staff working during peak times, but they honestly look overrun and glum on busy nights. They also seem to juggling online delivery companies, with those orders then sitting in the counter for ages. To avoid the long delays I’d make a suggestion that I’ve seen done at other busy locales: have the staff taking orders ask customers up front if they’re happy to wait when the delay is more than 15 - 20 minutes. People can then decide whether or not they want to go ahead and wait, or come back later. That way you can manage customer expectations and avoid the tiresome repetition of everyone asking the young counter staff if their orders are ready.

One of the best fish and chips stores I've been to, which is something that is hard to find in Brisbane. The fish is fresh and always well cooked. I recommend grilled hoki, battered whiting, and crumbed snapper. The Southern Indian Spiced Aioli is also delicious. Order ahead of time on a Friday night! It would be a 5 out of 5 stars if not for the chips occasionally being a little on the soggy side or not as fresh as the other items.

We had an amazing meal ordered from Clayfield Seafood Markets! As always the chips were sooo crispy, with the right amount of chicken salt, and your GF gravy is da bomb! The grilled calamari was absolutely delicious and the prawn cutlets outstanding as usual. I think we must have stuffed up our sauce order as I thought I'd ordered two tartare sauce but only got one. It worked out for the best though as the calamari was better just lemon. Thanks for selling such great quality seafood, we really appreciate it!!!

Always amazing. The fish is SO fresh. Really well cooked every time. The Newstead beer batter is amazing! So is the salt and pepper squid! Best Fish and Chips in Brisbane!!
