Was really looking forward to this place and it was just okay. Mainly disappointed with the food, it was a bit hit and miss. Meat a bit dry and Baja fish was too oily. Overall vibes of the restaurant is nice and waitress lovely.

I’ve always had a wonderful time at Chula. Great food, specially the octopus and all the tacos, and amazing cocktails! Plus a super friendly service!

This has got to be the most legit Mexican I have had I Australia. All of the traditional ingredients we usually miss, amazing flavours, wonderful and knowledgeable staff, fun and authentic interior and just a genuinely enjoyable dining experience. The team looked after my dietary needs, and were more then happy to help me with my vegetarian, no dairy of onion requests. We had unbelievable too shelf mescal and tequilas, and the cocktails were perfecto. You would be crazy not to go and check this place out. Wow!!!

Had a booking for 4 for outside and were seated outside for 2:45pm on a Saturday. We were unable to order the bottomless beverage lunch as we didn't pre order that with our booking. So if that is what you want make sure you pre order that with your booking. Tables outside for small numbers are quite close together, but if you have a larger group you will get more of the space to yourself. Drinks We ordered a jug of original Margarita. Was a bit a bit diluted so for $68 so didn't feel like it was good value. Then we ordered a bottle of wine. They let us do a tasting on two types and we picked the Riesling. Food We ordered a set menu for Brunch. $55 each this was good value. Good amount of food. Chips and guacamole to start. A bit diluted quac if you ask me. Food was good and tasty. The brunch set menu is a good portion size for ladies lunch. We had civeche, corn, a small cactus appetiser, quesadillas, tacos and churros. Obviously one each of everything. If you are a big eater might not be enough for you. Service was friendly and when we flagged them down for additional drinks etc they were responsive. Seemed quite busy and there were hens lunches, other ladies lunches here. This is the vibe I got from this place. Quite good if the weather is nice. We were rushed out at the 2 hour mark so they are quite strict on the seating times. Would attend again as it is easy and good value but nothing super special. Cost $375 for 4 people so $94 each. Pretty good value for what you get.

I have been here a few times and have not been disappointed once. Great friendly and helpful staff. Great space and atmosphere. The food is amazing, great flavours, it's fresh and always leaves you wanting more. It has to be one of the best (if not the best) Mexican restaurants in Sydney. I love it here and whenever I bring someone here they absolutely love it too❣️⭐️

My partner and I came in for dinner on the 13th, I can't remember our servers name as many delicious cocktails were had. The service, ambience and food & drinks were impeccable. The birria tacos could turn a vegan. Our server was so knowledgeable and made the night even more fun, hope to return ASAP!!

the best mexican restaurant with an authentic menu in Sydney, excellent service, attentive staff, very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. The food menu is very varied with several options of seafood and several tacos and it is worth the tip for the tuna snack with fried leek. a well-designed drinks menu. the Margarita with a smoky touch and the chef's suggestion for the main dish is really worth it. It is very worthwhile to go with friends and enjoy the food and drink menu.

This place is amazing everything we expected. Food was very tasty, service was amazing. Florencia was our waitress, she was the most amazing waitress, very kind professional and offered us the best service you could ask for at a restaurant. THANK YOU! This place is so amazing, I will definitely be coming back to try the bottomless brunch. I highly recommend!

Delicious and substantial amount for bottomless brunch. Lots of food choices. My favourite was the corn. They were able to make everything GF and they also have a vegetarian/vegan option so are very accommodating. Many drinks options too. Staff are very friendly. Definitely would recommend and would come back again.
