China Bar

I used to come here all the time. Haven't been for a few years til today and I will not be going back! Staff were rude and unhelpful and the food has gone way overpriced!

I consistently eat here and have done so for more than a decade. China bar fried rice is my comfort food of choice

Simple Chinese food, I loved it

The layout of the place reminded me of other long narrow restaurants in Swanson Street in the city. However, unlike the ones in the city, this one was much better ventilated and cleaner. The food was good but a little pricier than other similar type restaurants in the area. They didn't charge for the take away box though when I couldn't finish my bbq pork and won ton noodle dish. Hubby had the duck noodle which he said was not bad. Yes, will keep this in mind for bringing friends to when after some Asian food. Meal comes with complimentary top up Chinese tea, although that was a little on the weak side. #letsguide

Fast service and fresh, tasty food at good prices

Food is so so and it's open late. But minimum $10 per person at any time of day means my wife/mates can't accompany me out for a late meal without ordering a full meal. Stupid rules like "can only buy 2 BBQ pork buns at a time, cannot buy 1 to eat in - only if you take away." Ridiculous rules ruin what could be a good night hang out. Will be going to other restaurants in future.

Fast service and decent food, if a little light on the meat and veg.

18/04/2017 - much improved, better quality rice. Good value, can't really go wrong there, the better one amongst the franchise.
