77 Nelson St, Annandale
It is a comforting, gorgeous space with delicious savoury food and fresh ingredients. Sweets are a bit hit or miss. Portions are a bit smaller than when they first opened, so I recommend getting a dish each and something to share. Depending on who serves you, it could be a delightful warm interaction or something less pleasant. With table service only and waiters who don't know what's in the cabinets and won't allow you near them, it means there isn't a consistent experience. Again, there are some really good waiters but the guy we always got was inexplicably rude. We haven't been back in a while and hope it changes. *updated regularly
We had a picnic on Saturday with cakes, quiches and bread bought from this lovely bakery! Our staff and guests were amazed by the quality and the taste of the food! Thanks very much Cherry Moon for the great work! We enjoyed our time :)
Delicious food. Unique selection of good stocked, plus some local staples. Some earlier reviews have complaints on staff. Staff were lovely this afternoon. Fast, attentive, and chipper. A hidden gem.
Such amazing food, without a doubt unique and full of thought. The store is filled with fancy things. Treat yourself to a pastry or cake here for sure.
Itβs nice but it didnβt hold up to some of the other local cafes. It was busy during the day.
Came in for weekend brunch with a group of 4. Luckily we arrived at the right time and didn't have to queue for too long - by the time we left there were ~30 people waiting outside! Coffee and food were both top notch, though they didn't come super quickly - good things take time when they're made from scratch! Highly recommend the bread pudding, was delicious. Even the pies and cakes we too home were divine!
Lovely shop enjoyed the coffee. Well made.
A lovely little spot for a coffee, breakfast or brunch. I was pleased to see a selection of savory items to choose from inside the cafe, including beef pies, selection of pizzas, sandwiches and pastries. We all opted for the pork and caramelised onion pizza for $8, very tasty, could have eaten more!
Trendy and upmarket. The staff were lovely and helpful. The cake I had was to die for.
Visited on Sunday and it's a bit strange there is a long line and then you have to try find your own table for dine-in. Very expensive two filter coffees and a doughnut for $18??? And my lukewarm filter was served in a dirty cup that had lipstick on it. I wanted to ask for another one but it wasn't worth queuing up again. Very poor experience. Will not return.
