Great food, not overly priced like many would expect

Nice new look, with more seating these days. Menu a bit limited, but we were happy with our Salmon and Parmy. It's a bit noisy with music and chatter, but the staff were friendly! Beautiful outlook and lovely gardens.

My girlfriend is a BIG beer drinker and wanted to do this tour of the Cascade Brewery whilst we were in Hobart with friends. I myself do not partake of the amber fluid and thought it might not be for me but I was very surprised to find that the history and the location, together with the cafe were enough to make me value the tour. However the passion of our tour guide and all the information he imparted about how beer is brewed and the history of the process was just so interesting. I learnt heaps and thoroughly enjoyed my whole time there. Well worth a look. Great tour, great beer and a beautiful historic building to photograph. We had plenty of time to wander through the gardens and even have lunch at the restaurant if we wanted. Plenty of photo opportunities of the brewery buildings and its grounds however, you are not permitted to take photos inside the brewery. Tip: be aware that at the time we attended, to participate in the tour of the brewery, we could not have consumed any alcohol prior to the tour You do get to sample the beers afterwards 🍻 Great place to visit when in Hobart

Great place to chill. Staff and food are great. The beer is spot on. We will definitely be coming back.

What a great place ! Good tour of the place ...didn't know so much of it was kept in Tassie !

The salmon I had was delicious as was the tartare sauce served with it . It was made on the premises and did not overtake the taste of my salmon . If it was bottled I would have bought some . Excellent service by the staff . Wonderful surroundings.
