Cascade Brewery Bar

First time I’ve been there and I had my birthday celebration last Saturday, and when I got there, the first thing I heard from the staff was “you can’t bring a cake”. Not even a nice word before. And of course if I knew I could not bring a cake to my birthday I would have chosen another venue to celebrate. And that’s what happened. After eat and have a couple of drinks, we left to another place to celebrate properly with the cake. Very frustrating and rude. They could have made my night more special.

We attended the brewery and tasting tour. What a great experience with a very informative guide. The best part is at the end you get to taste the brews with an awesome platter. The food was so good we stayed for dinner so we could soak in the lovely ambience of the bar with the ancient brewery in the background. Such a good experience 😁

Very good restaurant with gorgeous surrounds and one of the best parmis made with local ingredients in Hobart.

Beautiful place, very historic and the gardens at the back of the restaurant section are magnificent!

Great atmosphere and live music. Parmigiana was great.

Great views and gardens. Tasting paddles and a parmy! Food took about 45 mins to come out so perhaps order early to avoid waiting too long. Tours book out so be sure to book in advance.

Limited selection of food but pretty good varieties. Nice range of beers. Ample selection of whiskey and wines.

Nice place, good food, and the best beer. You can book their guided tour to learn about the Brewery's history. I recommend booking a table for the weekend, as it can be very crowded. Specially nice to sit outside during the summer time.

Loved it!!! Great vibe, great beers! The staff are by far the most accommodating that I have experienced. If you're in Hobart for great food and beer, there's no reason not to visit!

Finished off our Tassie trip with the Brewery tour. Lucinda was a great tour guide - balance between history, brewing process knowledge and cracked a few jokes too! Highly recommend for all types of groups.
