Cairo Takeaway

Really enjoyed it here. Lovely food and staff. A must go place if you want something just that little bit different. It's only small and not much room for seating so go early. Was too busy eating to take pics, I enjoyed the mixed meat platter while hubby had the spicy prawns. Karkadè took me back to Egypt. There's 2 desserts on the menu and both were delicious and not overly sweet. I can't take hubby into going back to Egypt, but I can talk him into going back to the Cairo takeaway.

Casual restaurant, quick service and very tasty food. We have the vegetarian mixed plate, mixed meat plate as well as a side of fries. Food and service was excellent. Only complaint - the toilet was dirty, floors were all wet.

Tasty middle eastern food, nice cozy sitting area, friendly staff. Would like to go back there again. Recommendable

Fantastic place and delicious food. We had great service thanks to Mucky! Really tasty dishes and we were quickly served. The meat dishes were amazing and not at all pricey for what you get. Will definitely be back to this place

Was here for lunch just now. I LOVED this place. I had a mixed meat plate (picture #1) with a hibiscus drink. It was yummy! Really really nice. They had a nice, cosy area at the back - in addition to the indoor dining area. Good options for vegans (picture #2). Very friendly staff!!

I've been meaning to try this place for years and honestly I'm angry I didn't try it sooner!! Delicious food, lovely service and just a chill, laid back vibe. Always busy, so try to go during non peak hours if possible. But well worth the wait.

Amazing food and great value

The food was great but the place itself was not comfortable for me. A sporadic waft of what I assume is the garbage disposal smell kept hitting at random intervals and I'm guessing whenever staff opened the back door. The back alley courtyard and seating doesn't inspire much appetite but having smashed the food through all that is testament to how nice it was. I would go back to pickup for takeaway 👌
