Brewtown

This used to be my favourite place for eggs benedict. Not sure if it's a post covid thing, but the quality seems to have gone down. I was disappointed with my last breakfast here. The portion has halved, for the same price. The brioche was half the size and stale. The ham seemed like a cheap processed sliced ham (it used to be good quality, chunky ham off the bone). Previously you got 2 eggs, and now it you only get one. The hollandaise sauce, however, was still good. As you can see from the photos, the difference in portion size. Looks like I'll need to find a new spot for my eggs benedict.

Great space with a friendly team. The coffee is good and their pastry range only consists of Cronuts. Our eggs benny was very tasty and a generous size portion.

Visited Brewtown last week coffee was great. Food and customer service was good but there was nothing that set it apart from other venues in the area. But my real issue was with the bathroom! Such a ghastly smell I could barely breathe. That bathroom needs a deep clean and more regularly. Attention needs to be pay to hygiene practices!

Great warehouse style Cafe, with friendly staff and excellent food. The breakfast bun was amazing! Hit the spot!

One of my favourite coffee and brunch spots. Coffee is nice and strong, how it should be! They do a perfect flat white. Cinnamon cronut was as delicious as it sounded. Their pastry menu is overwhelming with so many things I want to eat. But just means I'll have to return regularly! 😁

First time here and will definitely back again to this groovy side laneway cafe. Friendly relaxed staff. I had the baked polenta with hummus, pesto, mushroom and soft poached egg which was divine and perfect size for brekky. The green juice was yummy too. My partners breakfast milk bun roll was packed to the brim with scrambled eggs sausage bacon and rocket which he loved. We picked up some treats and bread in the new upstairs bakery too which is all home made deliciousness! A great find to add to our local fave haunts in newtown!

Brew cronut was amazingly delicious! Creme brulè was nice too.

Brewtown has excellent coffee - the iced latte was perfect for a hot day. I also had the Reuben Sandwich was quite good. Will come back for the pastries next time 😍

The coffee and breakfast burger with hash was on point 👍. Finished with a parcel of deliciousness ....Creme Brulee Cronut 😋😋😋, I warn you these thing would literally stop arguments. The best cronut in Sydney. The service by Simon and team was of the highest calibre. Champagne coffee,food and service 😊. I will definitely be back

Coffee:awesome. Food:awesome. Service:awesome. (And all that from a guy who thinks the word “awesome” is totally overused....☕️ )
