2 -4 College St Lower Mezzanine Level of Cook and Philip Park 2000, Sydney
This deserves a 5 star review because i enjoyed every dish. FYI i fancy being a carnivore in my spare time. The only "bad" and somewhat debatable feed back I can give is that the tables were really tight and small so if you have multiple dishes coming out at a time and you want to take your time to intake all the flavours it was a bit of a circus act. In addition if you have a bad back i recommend letting the booking staff know prior to your arrival as 95% of the chairs don't have a back support.
Beautiful isolated place at centre of the city and nice yum cha experience. Loved almost all the platters. Its vegan and obviously they have tried to match the real taste. But being pure vegetarian, the prawn one tasted lil horrible for me. My partner liked it though. Others we tried were so different from each other and tasted delicious. Try different things and explore. Perfect for a small family to try many things with the quantity they serve.
Definitely the best vegan restaurant I ever been. The lovely and very friendly girl who helped us suggested amazing options of dishes. If you are looking for a place with good quality food and an amazing customer service, this is the place to go!!! Highly recommended. I will certainly be back there soon and I will make sure Venisha assist us again.
Really enjoyed the food and experience. Minimal wait time for tapas, mains and dessert. And the mulled wine was amazing. Definitely recommend
Was seated outside with my friend underneath a tree wrapped in fairy lights and it wad stunning. Great food selection, pity my stomach is only so big that I could only fit a few choice items in. Whatever you season your corn cob strips in is chef's kiss. Staff gave friendly service even if we were a bit late for our reservation due to traffic. Service was a bit slow but most likely due to dinner rush but would still come here again in the future.
Wow, what a tantalizing experience! As a non-vegan I thoroughly enjoyed the food, fresh and flavorsome without NGO - amazing! I got to try prawns for the first time (crustacean allergy) so having a plant based prawn was pretty cool! The service is amazing and food comes out fast. Delicious cocktails as well.
A perfect spot for lunch facing Cook+Philip park. Vegan yum-cha was good with a varied selection of typical items you would normally get in regular Yum-Cha. The gluten free items like some of the dumplings tended to be really sticky and chewy. Service was efficient and attentive with a constant flow of items to taste. A really nice spot in the heart of the city.
The restaurant decor and gardens were beautiful and the food was great. The best was easily the vegan chicken ginger buns. Everything else was good but didn't blow my mind. The restaurant was generally a bit chaotic as well. Not sure its worth the price tag but I would come back again if I visited Sydney. I would definitely recommend trying to get a seat outside instead of inside. Keep in mind that the yum cha service at lunch means you don't just order the food that you want, but rather select food from trays from waitresses walking around to your table.
Best place to have delicious vegan NOG ( no onion and garlic). The first time I went there now, I might put it in quarterly rituals to visit this place. Try delicious neutral meals next time when you visit town hall. The friendly reminder, have a booking in place before your visit. However, they are a pretty accomodating and lovely service team.
Best vegetarian restaurant in town!
