Bittersweet

This place used to be great. We were there last week. Slow service. Food was very average and I think I got the worst coffee I have ever had . Two tables left whilst we were there as they could not wait any longer . I won't be back

I really enjoy going to Bittersweet for a slow Sunday breakfast and coffee. Not a lot of noise, the coffee is actually quite good (not bitter at all...) and the menu is accommodating. It can get busy, but the atmosphere remains calm enough to enjoy it all.

I found the menu to be lacking many healthy options and the fridge had no bottled water. I was then charged a higher price than was advertised and I had already found the advertised price to be high. The price I ended up paying was outrageous in my opinion. Then from the point of ordering it took 25 mins to receive a simple salad that’s far too long. The food was actually tasty and satisfying but everything else lets it down.

They deserve no stars at all ! The worst service ever, for the unbelievable conduct of the staff! They ignored me from the start, but they did something much worse. After I ordered my breakfast, just in a few seconds they came to me with a plate they said they took from another customer table and they offered it to me !!! I clearly said 'NO, I DO NOT WANT IT' and they told me they were going to prepare my order, but just a few seconds later they came back with the same plate without any explanation! A couple of waitress girls then were wandering around me to make sure 'if I noticed their wrong-doing'... It's unbelievable! The integrity, conduct and hygiene of this Cafe is seriously questionable for me now. They take plates from others (possibly touched ) and give them to others customers, just because they are lazy to do the order for a new customer??? disgusting! Just because one can not complain there, because there is nobody to hear and the bad service of these lazy girls and boys are covered by ZERO TOLERANCE policy these days, they can get away with such unbelievable wrong conduct and cheating - nobody knows what is happening in their kitchen , so, stay away from this place!

Great Cafe in Kingo. Food is tasty and the friendly service is exceptional. Incredibly dog friendly & has a Dog menu. My pooch and I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Good coffee, great chocolate brownie and friendly service. Sat there and wofked on laptop for an hour out of the rain

Local Kingston cafe with outdoor seating in a small park. Very busy Saturday lunchtime. Has a good selection for breakfast but lunch is limited. Breakfast served until 2pm. Normal door access. Real Chai Latte was nice, berry smoothie not so much.

Firstly, the rating for atmosphere was neutral because it's so subjective - some might . The rest of the experience was terrific with service prompt, friendly and efficient. A great accompaniment to the food which was excellent.

We had a great brunch on Anzac Day. The cafe was really busy but that didn’t stop The staff from being very friendly and efficient. The baked bean special and the Korean eggs were outstanding.

Exceptional service. The food was delicious. Zucchini and basil soup was delicious. Coffee was great too. Fresh Juices were delicious too. Great Cafe
